SDS Imports Lynx 12 3G 3 Gun 12ga Shotgun Shooting Impressions 

The SPETS 12 is the "Firearm" version of the Lynx12, they might do a version of that with the left hand charger and hinged dust cover.

They just need to get a Caldwell/Past Recoil Shield. Amazon has them for $27. It worked great for us when shooting SPETS12 braced "Firearm" with buckshot and slugs.

We haven't had it out much, a year means about 60 other guns we've reviewed since then. Unfortunately our local range doesn't take too kindly to guns like these so we have to drive 90min out to the woods to enjoy it. It is however due for a revisit.

I guess you mean to replace it with a right side charging handle. If it is a right sided lynx bolt you may be able to because the cut is still there on the right side of the frame and dust cover. I haven't handled a lynx so don't quote me on it as internals may be different. If not you could probably have a gunsmith attach a bolt handle to the right side and have the left removed. EDIT, you probably know this but there is a right side charging lynx they make that's more true to the saiga look.

@@naughtyorgneiss They actually did. Inserting and removing mag required a little force but it worked nonetheless.

Graham Baates do you use rifled slugs? As far as I can tell this has a smooth barrel and I think rifled will damage smooth or do I not know what I’m talking about?

I use rifled slugs as long as it says "for smooth bore" on the box.
