Great video. Nice to see the Wallangarra train trip from a different perspective. Loved the Drone shots until, ( clango & bango) I hope it recovered . There is just something different and special about our narrow gauge QLD steam locos., especially the C17s. Keep up the good work. Very enjoyable.
Outstanding work Kyle! Very funny too lol. What camera and drone do you use? Video looks stunning! Also where was that shot taken at Silverwood on the way to Wallangarra, looks great.
Thanks James! The spot is a 5 minute walk toward Warwick. I use the Canon 5D mark IV, DJI mavic air 2, and a sony FDR AX53 don't buy the sony get another camcorder
That’s awesome! What one did you use for example the shot at 16:00 ? Love the look of the video, with whatever you recorded with in that shot did you use it in auto mode? I’m so sorry for asking and what video format do you use on it too? Once again sorry for all the questions.
The sony camcorder for that one. That is one of the things lacking about that camera is you can only control one setting, so I set the shutter speed to 1/50 ( as i shoot 24fps) and can manually control microphone sensitivity and adjust the exposure compensation its a pain in the rear end, otherwise I would start to recommend that camera. You will find I did a little colour grading to bring down the green. for some reason sony cameras love green, canon love magenta (which is easier to grade) The drone is a mixed bag it does really well in sunny conditions. I try and get it to the lowest contrast/baked in colours so I can grade it. Do play with Davinci resolve it is a great piece of software. Don't worry about it, I'd rather have someone ask questions!
