Do you guys have a preferred deck that you choose for Oasis class? I’m planning to book my families first cruise on Symphony out of NJ to Bahamas for May 2025 and I feel like the hardest choice is picking which deck 😂 is it better to be closer to pool, or closer to late night pizza? And is there a better side of the ship to be on for better views?

Hi! Which deck is totally preference based on how you cruise. We found for us and the ages of our kids that being on the higher deck made it easier for our kids to run back to the room from the pool. That said, when we were on Harmony when our kids were smaller, we liked the lower deck because it was easier for one of us to run a grab drinks at night while we were sitting on the balcony when the kids were sleeping. Leaving from Bayonne, we preferred port side so we could see sunrises from the balcony early in the trip. If you prefer to sleep in, starboard is the way to go. Send us an email and we’ll be happy to help get you booked in the right room for you. Howwecruise@gmail.com
