This 2014 Sea-Doo RXP-X 260 came in today for SPEED!
Today We Install a Calas Performance Billet CamShaft,
Calas Performance Lightweight flywheel, light weight magneto and lightweight Cam Gear.
This is basically a Calas Performance Stage 1 Upgrade.

Special thanks to Chris Caputo Jr for Tuning this Bad boy. This RXPX 260 feels Extremely FAST and the acceleration is INSANE!

The Calas cam and the lighter rotational mass is the magic combination. Specially paired up with the right Prop. Btw Did you end up putting a 15/19 prop in there?

What kind of difference does the tune do? Just a quick remap of the ecu? Always the bloopers of the planes over head haha :)

The tune is very important not for performance but rather to have the motor run at its most efficiency.

So 1lb 13.1oz = 1.81 lbs . So its almost 2lbs lighter. He wasn't wrong about it being almost 2 lbs lol 😂

Probably kept the JetSki on too long with the hose to flush it

Usually, from idling too long without the Jetski being in water will cause wear on the carbon seal. I think Calas did an episode on the carbon seals a while back explaining this

Don't think the client was worried about topspeed mph. That cam shines on the holeshot power and midrange power. The added top speed is just a bonus.

4.75 pounds is not correct. The scale reads 4 pounds, 7.5 ounces. That is just under 4.5 pounds. Notice the scale read out is in tenths of ounces and 16 ounces is one pound. See, lighter than you thought!

So its still 1.82lbs if difference right? . So almost 2lbs off rotational mass of the motor
