Wow what a session wayne,cracking video and plenty of fish,well done

It's been bad with the wind and on the isle of man, I went out last Saturday baited with sandeels and mackerel, I tried different methods but not a single baited was touched and this was off the pier where there's usually a good stamp of 2 to 3lb Pollack, anyway winds have dropped a spanner in the works.

ello Wayne im very well thanks and love your informative vids its great the way you talk your way though how and why you do most things . im 68 and still learning about fishing . i fished the solent in a sib the weekend and my grandson owen (20 ) had a 13 and 16 lb hound . keep up the great work m8 we love it

That's great rock n roll and take that fans all talking together no bigotry, everyone there for the music, that's the beauty of it music often unites people. In regards to people being nice when fishing your right they'll mostly nice apart from 2 guys teaching a young lad how to fish wouldn't let me on the end of the pier saying they were there first but I've seen 20 + people on the end all fishing together but they were adamant they had the right to use the whole horse shoe end so I got stuck fishing halfway along, they were very nasty considering I was only 10 at the time it upset me alot, I know if I'd been with my brother or dad or friends it would have gone down a lot different but what could I do 1 young lad against 2 burly blokes telling a lad what he was doing was wrong and the poor kid looked embarrassed by their attitude. But that's the only really bad experience I've had out of all fisherman I've fished with or worked with on a charter boat where I was a deck hand, now that's a great job teaching people to fish I absolutely loved it cuz nothing beats seeing someone catching their first fish it awesome. 😀

Wayne what can I say that's some session you had it's unbelievable. Hi Wayne, a great video mate. I'm doing well, especially when it's a new rod day. On your recommendation I've bought a 12-20lb Banzai Boat, I'll be using one of my Shimano Ultegra XSE's loaded with braid with it. I've had a read about the Naga's and Competitions and they look very good, I'm happy with my old 4.5m Tronix Cobra's and have no plans on changing any time soon. Now, we just need this weather to behave and I'll be out on my mate's boat on the Tamar, and Plymouth Sound. I'm still shore fishing as well, but out on the boat now and again for a change. Keep up the great work 👍 Bye the way, in Australia the Tope is called the School Shark, though it's a member of the Houndshark family.

I’m good, thanks for asking, but I’ll be even better next week- I’m off on a fishing road trip for the week with my son. A couple of points I disagree with this week Wayne ;) 1. You're too modest. You're definitely a pin-up hunk (I think it's the beard). 2. Def Leopard? They were bad in the 80s. I'm glad you've discovered Motley Cru, a far better band imo. You should definitely watch some documentaries on them. The stories of rock n roll excess are as mental as their music. ... but, I do agree about matching rod length to your height, depending on how you're fishing, of course. I'm 6 2, and I always feel like commercial rod lengths are a foot shorter than I'd like... The wife often makes a similar observation ;)

A query...ive not had a smoothhound before, big or small, but had what i thought was a small smoothie at Barry last friday. It had a row of teeth so im wondering now if it was baby tope being on the other side of the channel to you. Do smoothies have any teeth at all?
