A recent session at a mark known as "The Wreck" between Weybourne and Kelling on the North Norfolk shingle.
Looking to catch an early Smoothound or Bass but just happy to be out fishing again .
Anyone visiting the north Norfolk beaches, here are some bait suppliers local to the area.

I use a screenshot of Google maps then add the details using a program called paint. It then has to be re sized to use on RU-vid 👍 Thanks for watching

Nice video, like the parking info etc. One question, how easy is it to get down onto the beach from the coastal path?

Hello Mark. Some of the coastal path actually runs along that fenced off cliff I walked along to get to the wreck. From the car park at Weybourne, it's literally the top of the shingle bank heading East towards Sheringham on top of the cliffs. Easy access to the beach tho 👍

@@david892006 I’ve always walked along the beach when I’ve fished there in the past. I’ll try the path next time, should be a lot easier than all that shingle. Good luck at your next match.

Yes it's definitely a lot easier walking off that shingle if you intend fishing away from the car park. We are at Kelling tonight for match 10 of our summer league.

People are being sold a fallacy, think about the direction of tide. If you were on a boat down tide fishing then a pulley would work. off a beach when you are, pretty much uptide fishing, your weight will dig in uptide of the flow, creating a bow of line back to your tip, thus also creating from your lead an almost 180deg angle. All said you may as well tie your hooklink to your lead. Watercraft??? I have enjoyed though, but anywhere I here Pully Pennel gets me.

I think your right in one aspect of the pulley rig. The only reason I like it, because no matter what length hook link you tie, it's always tight and streamlined close to the lead. A std running rig would work better but casts like a dog ......

Hi, what are your rods and reels?, I'm looking to try my hand at this and I wondered what to get, length wise and fixed or muliplier. Cheers

Hello James. My Rods are AnyFish Anywhere Tournament Match pros, 13ft 8ins and the reels are Penn Mag 4 Multipliers. Personally if you are starting out a fixed spool set up is easier to get started with. A 12ft rod and 10,000 size reel will be a good starting point. If your new to using multipliers, try and find someone to maybe let you have a go before buying especially the Rods. I've found the Mag 4s very user friendly compared to some. Using the built in magnetic brakes to control the cast. The Multiplier set up does need lots of practice. Hope that helps 👍
