It's 2019 asI write this. I don't know why, but for Season 3, the episodes are all over the place. I've shut off the "Autoplay" and instead, I search for them each time by number.
I also was, with most. Maybe if the title is in the format like 'Sea Hunt: Season 3, Episode 2', and not like 'Sea Hunt: 3X1', they are all over the place. I would have had them all in the latter.
3:00: Mike: "You need a hard hat for this job."; Diamond Merchant: "But Mike, it's Season 3 already. We're all well aware of how much of a hard head you are. You're the right man for this job." ;)
He's wearing the insignia of a Flotilla Commander in this episode. Interestingly (to me, anyway), Lloyd Bridges actually served in the active-duty Coast Guard during World War II, and was in the Auxiliary after. Because of his support for and promotion of the Auxiliary, he was eventually made an honorary commodore. His sons Beau and Jeff were also in the active-duty Coast Guard.
These are great to see again, but why oh why did someone use image stabilization on the video? That weird wobble effect it produces makes viewing very unpleasant. Oh well...
At 1:12, there’s a “Haunted French Horn”, or the “missing” 16th measure of TC-67 which is missing on The Capitol HI-Q Series, but not missing on ZIV Production Music Library. Also, at 1:35 to 1:57, the 1982 movie “Creepshow” use this late 1950’s ZIV Tune, TC-71.
Aar, so there are, or were, advantages to hard hat divers. What I thought of, is adapting that outfit so as to go deeper than what the scuba divers can. The absolute maximum depth for scuba divers is 200 m, and many can only go to 100 m.
I know Ron Ely did a remake of Sea Hunt. Has anyone else pitched it as a series or movie. Maybe the popularity of Aquaman will help spawn a realistic series.
