Sea Kayaking - Ireland

I miss paddling in the West of Ireland. Note to any other padllers: If you're ever around the Old Head of Kinsale, look for the caves that pass right through. We found three, first spotted by noticing light coming from within the cliffs. A seal barked at me in one of them. There are other caves all up and down the west coast, arches too. Spectacular stuff.

Wow, that was 6 minutes of pure bliss! I dare say I'd be a little unnerved paddling such a narrow opening between the rock walls, especially with the flush. Seemed like quite a bit of water was flowing in and out!

Beautiful video, thanks for sharing. I have only paddled the Slieve league cliffs in Donegal, that county is a dream place for seakayaking 😍.

Shearwater are the best fun to go out sea kayaking with. The stuff they get you to do is unreal.

That looks so much like Newfoundland. Continental drift is proven. The accent in Fermews would confirm it. Great vid.

and just think, as amazing as this video is it STILL doesn't capture just the amazing vast feeling of sea kayaking.

Yeah ive been to gola island and inis sionnaigh, but didnt have the right apparel, got a drysuit delivered today, so i hope to venture further, as my confidence increases

Did you try out your new kayak ? There are so many great places to kayak in Donegal.

I was lucky enough to be kayaking and a whole group of manatees surrounded us. They were mating and going crazy, splashing in the water with little babies coming right up to the side of the kayak.
