This song always makes me wanna cry. Yes I know my name has toxic in it. The man wanted the seas to be a good place Nan’s he damn well did. We’ll honor your wishes, mate. Just enjoy the calm seas and easy winds. R.I.P Glitterbeard. Thank you for being the best damn pirate on the seas, no, the world.
Our ship, she dreams Of wind in her sails, Of wind in her sails unfurled. And shining as we cross the sea, We cross the sea for home. Then we’ll all raise our voices, A song in our hearts. And set our eyes on distant shores With wind in her sails again. There’ll be Cheering & calling, No more Squabbling & brawling When we have the Wind in our sails. When we have our feet on the ground, We’ll sow our good Fortune around. There’ll be Feasting & pleasure, No more Rationing & measure... When we have the wind in our sails.
Godspeed Glitterbeard. We salute you. may your spirit forever live on in our hearts. may your memory live on for generation after generation. we love you. RIP James White.
My dog Fiona (Golden Doodle) Passed away today at 5:10 pm. 2010-2022 I said my parting words to he in her bed, and even if her ears were deaf, even if she was gasping her last, She heard me. "She's gone" I replied, then played this song.
@@dinosp8th People hate it? I just started a little over a month ago and I'm hooked! I have been betrayed and saved by other people. I have had in just a month the best experience I've ever had in a game. Sea of Thieves is by far one of the best games I have ever played and it's beautiful on top of that.
My wife is about to give birth to our first born son on Monday. I think of this song and hope that if this game is still alive and well in 4 to 5 years, I can't wait to introduce my son to the game
Après avoir survécu a l'assaut des navire squelettes, attaquer un fort, vaincue flameheart coulé trois bateaux de joueurs dans une bataille acharnée au fdd, cette musique prend du sens
No more squabbling and brawling? Sow our good fortune around? The song brings the message of being kind, helpful and friendly to your fellow sailors while there is still wind to guide and lead us to adventure AND home. Means stop being toxic in this game and giving the lame defense of "it's a pirate game". Pirates, while each crew were their own, still had a code of honor amongst other pirates. They never attacked each other and if there came a threat on one crew that was too much for that single crew to handle, they banded together to bring that threat down. Want the Pirate's Code Of Honor? Here you go. -I shall not steal from Pirates, and only steal from those who are NOT Pirates. -I shall be loyal to my crew members. -I shall never torture anyone to gain information, items or for mere pleasure. -I shall lend help to children, and protect them. -Anyone accused of any crime or violation of the code shall receive fair trial before receiving punishment. -Any brawls or arguments shall be settled ON SHORE. -I shall not kidnap any woman or bring her in disguise onto the ship for the purpose of seducing her. -I shall take good care of my ship. -I shall not eat desert before breakfast. -I shall not wake my crewmates in the middle of the night unless it is of urgency. -I will not kill any innocents. -I will never, under any circumstance, rob a person of their virtue by forcing them to do something vile they would never do of their free will. -I shall not ally myself with one who would break these codes unless the situation be dire and require it. -I shall not stay up past midnight. -I shall not turn my crew over to the enemy for any favor, sum of money, object, or amount of power. -I shall keep my weapons clean, and train once a month. -I shall not break any of the rules. -I shall follow the code, and encourage my crewmates to do so also. Here are a list of Crimes and Punishments for Pirates. -Stealing from another pirate: Tied to the mast without food. Number of days determined by the crew. -Murder: Keelhauling. -Vandalizing the ship: Forced to clean the ship top to bottom, without help from the rest of the crew. -False accusations toward another crewmember: Entire body shaved. -Lying: "LIAR" tattooed onto the person's tongue. -Abandoning crewmates in need: No meals. Number of days determined by the crew. -Betrayal: Flogging and imprisonment on the ship. -Drunk when needed sober: Everything found in a short version of the shanty "Drunken Sailor". -Keeping fellow crewmates up during the night: No sleep for days (determined by the crew). So next time you see another ship's sails on the horizon, remember this code. Reapers are breakers of this code and the rest should band together to punish them for breaking the code.
As Captain Jack Sparrow would say, the code is more like... Guidelines. I tend to be pretty nice out there on the seas but sometimes I do sucker punch someone with a haul when their pants are down. I've died my fair share of times offering an alliance. XD
@@MochaMicah Jack never said the Code were just guidelines. Barbosa did, but he's a Code Breaker. Swann did, but when she did, she wasn't a pirate and just going on Barbosa's words. Gibbs did, but he was a Merchant Sailor. Jack would NEVER say that, because his father, Captain Teague, was the Keeper of the Code, and if you remember HIS quote, "The Code is the Law", and killed the one guy who said hang the Code.
