'I would like to have seen Montana' The devs are knocking it out of the park with details like a variable thermocline layer & how the dipping sonar's cable is jostled by the helo's rotor wash. As usual, your presentation is top notch. Keep 'em comin'!

1:30 Replacing Russian namesake of Red October with NATO-designated November (when the October Revolution actually happened but still falls in October of the Julian Calendar) is too good a metaphor to be missed 😂

My Original idea for the video title was "Hunt for Red November". One of the reasons I mispoke and called the Delta 3 a november class haha

Soviets used to fire torpedoes at their own subs on exercises much to the horror of nearby NATO subs listening in. I can imagine these assets on your scenario had significant emotional events once they realised they were hearing actual live weapons sinking subs with counter fire going back at the surface fleet. Certainly quite a long and interesting report back to SUBLANTFLT lol.

Tutorial or 1 star level scenario. No significant danger to player ships and subs unless they really make some glaring/obvious blunders. This scenario does highlight however an important training point of requiring players to accurately identify units to avoid attacking the wrong units.

It’s really cool how you can pit ships of the same faction against each other and Vic versa. One mission I want to make is something based on the Storozhevoy mutiny, though I don’t think she herself is in the game

It’s amazing that when a ship or submarine gets hit, it is hit in the middle or the back. Plus, when going down they don’t break apart.

I think a better way to make this harder would simply be to have your fleet start farther away from the zone than the US fleet, allowing the defectors to have a chance to hunt the US ships if you can't intervene fast enough (and maybe give the US fleet some ships that are not suited for ASW combat like an Iowa or something to be an obstacle to avoid)

Sail on fearlessly, Pride of the Northern Seas. Hope of the Revolution, you are the burst of faith of the people. (The submarines need to be a lot harder to localise. I mean, I don’t know what reality would be like, perhaps they’d die really, really quickly and easily. But look at it purely from a fiction / gameplay standpoint, the whole cat and mouse element just doesn’t seem to take place right now.)

I love that there were two American warships, almost like in the movie. But to be as real as possible this is scenario need to be played or just with the typhoon (when it is introduced into the game), which tries to escape from the alpha. Or the opposite, chase away the typhoon with Alfa. I would also see a Russian bomber, And the a Los Angeles Class submarine scenario.💯

I believe that it should be possible for a torpedo to hit a helicopter in real life If the helicopter is dipping a sensor close to the water and the torpedo picks up the rotor wash That would be grand to see
