Sea Prince and the Fire Child is one of the most beautiful and underrated animated films I have ever seen. The soundtrack had no right sounding this beautiful!

Only ever saw the dubbed version when I was a small child like in '83, for years had no idea there were lyrics to this song and the closing one.

Yeah he’s really awesome he is best known for composing the dragon quest video games and if you’ve seen Godzilla 🆚 biollante he did the music to that too

Amazing how he’s worked on such diverse projects(a fairy tale style film, a giant monster movie, an RPG adventure video game series) yet, his style is still very recognizable.

I agree... why would I be traumatized? Because it's a Romeo and Juliet love tragedy? I'm trying to remember if I ever saw a version of R&J as a child... I first saw this movie as an adult.
