Sea Rim State Park I 100 Year Celebration (Texas Country Reporter) 

I’ve been there years ago and I loved it there actually went multiple times there when I lived in Beaumont and swam all day. Wish I still had my photos. 😢

I found Sea Rim State Park by mistake headed to Lubbock Texas. I drove the Gulf of Mexico from Florida to Texas in January 2022 and just happened upon it on my way. I went back there in December 2022 and spent a week there.

My mom was born in Sabine Pass in 1930 on the Back Ridge road. She was a Yoakum. My grandfather would tell us tales of ranching and camping on the beach during the drives. Told us of hearing wolves at night. He could shoot ducks on the fly with a 22 rifle. At times would be so thick they would cover when you stepped outside. I loved the times I spent down there. Good memories. I have ancestors buried in the Old Sabine cemetery. 4:46

Grew up down there and I remember the big building/museum that used to be there but was lost in Ike (or Rita?). Wish I could find pictures of that.

I got fined here by the game warden riding on the beach on my motorcycle , warden said it was marked but it clearly wasnt.

Spell check nocked out the word mosquitoes. They covered you at certain times. 4:46

I saw alligators, count me out.
