Thanks for this review, I'm looking for an easy cup to carry to music festivals etc because the amount of plastic wasted on drinks is ridiculous. This looks perfect.

awesome! glad it helps...I use it for travel. Once through security at the airport then i have a way to drink water instead of buying water bottles. :)

The bottom of the Mug has a Microwave Symble with a cross out X on the bottom of the Mug, is it Microwave Safe ?.

Walmart's Ozark trail has one that weighs the same(+/- 2 tenths oz) but only $3/pc. It also has measurement markings on the inside (imperial and metric).

I have one, it does not collapse anywhere as smoothly as the Sea to Summit. It’s a lot cheaper though.

Don't fall for it. I did. It sucks. O.K. until it's time to collapse it. Also, the best way to clean these is to turn them inside out. The WalMart version can't handle it.

Is it normal that it has a plastic smell after putting hot water in it?

for the first few times Yes...I would wash with a dish detergent before using and air dry...seems to help.

I love how French and German use gendered nouns. I’m assuming Cup is masculine in French (eg he is nice in blue). In English we just dumbed down nouns to it.
