You're supposed to suspend the tarp about 50 centimetres over the hammock.

Says who? It all depends on what You want to achieve AND how the weather actually is. With a marginally sized tarp like this one he achieves maximum rain protection only if it is set up right on top of the bug net - like an original jungle hammock in driving rain with an army poncho as a small tarp right above it.

1. Trees too far from each other 2. hammock is too tight, that's not how you set a hammock 3. you're lying straight in the hammock, that's not how you sleep in a hammock (diagonal) 4. wtf is this tarp too small, and tarp height?! :D => THANKS anyway because you seem to be a nice chap making nice videos for people. Hope you improved your technique since then ;) Do take care.
