The ‪@SeaEagleBoats‬ 437ps PaddleSki is an extremely versatile boat that packs a lot of features into a manageable platform. Take a look at this fully rigged PaddleSki. There is more than enough room to have multiple rods, depth finder, tackle, and much more. After going through the rigging stage of this setup, it is ready to hit the water. I had a great day on the water trying everything out and even catching a fish. Even though I only had a few hours to get on the water, I was highly impressed with the way the PaddleSki handled. As the weather gets better here in Virginia, I am planning to take this boat out more and more.
Thank you Sea Eagle for creating such a great boat. This is the first of many adventures to come with the 437ps. I'll cover some fresh water fishing, cruising, exploring, and even hit the salt a few times a year. Please subscribe and enjoy!

I can only imagine you will be buying an electric pump after realizing the kind of workout you got from that hand pump. I have the FishSUP 126, it took me a good 15+ minutes (with breaks because otherwise, I might have passed out) of pumping to fill it to 12 psi. Granted, I'm 67 and out of shape. So far, that is my only complaint as it is solid as a rock, same as your 437PS, I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy other products made by SE. Hope you get many years of enjoyment from it!

Thank you so much for that. Yes, it is a little bit of a workout. It takes a little bit of time but about 15-20 minutes is correct. On hotter days I'm sure it can get tiring. The electric pump is on its way. That should speed things up greatly. This is definitely the first of many adventures to come. Enjoy the FishSUP, it looks like an amazing platform.

Thanks for Video... I am wondering the stability.. do you feel you can fish whole day with standing? if so.. what is your guess little windy day? do you think it is still ok to stand? I am thinking to buy this once it is solid and support good stability(Standing)

The stability of the PaddleSki 437 is incredible. The rigid drop stitch floor makes standing a breeze. If the PaddleSki is properly inflated, you will tend to see how much a difference it really makes in how stable to watercraft is. I really enjoy standing on this and I can do it all day. My main thing with this is I don't have a bow mounted trolling motor right now. Wind does pose a problem when trying to stand and fish. Windy days will make this and any other inflatable harder to manage. The 437ps is bigger than other inflatables though so you may now have as much of an issue with the wind blowing you, but it does happen. I may plan to get a bow mounted, foot controlled trolling motor next year and really see what it can do in the wind. Standing closer to the bow of the boat will make the stern lighter and it may cause you to turn more as well. All things to consider. I do love the portability of this craft and the room that it gives, even with another passenger.

Do you recall the total inches from top of the transom to the water level?
@jonping8
@jonping8 Год назад
You are looking at about 21 inches from the top of the transom to the water line.

I'm Old School = I like cork !!! Jonathan what spinning rod are you using in this video ? I'll be having my Maiden Voyage with the PaddleSki in the next week. Fished out of a Touring kayak for twenty years ---- can't wait to stand :)))

That's amazing, it is so nice being able to stand and feel comfortable standing as well. The rod I am using is a Berkely Cherrywood combo (7') and a Lew's Speed stick with a Speed Spool on the spinner bait. I also use a Phenix Maxim with a 13 Fishing size 2000 reel, but I don't think I put that rod in the video. I'm sure the added space is going to be great coming from a touring kayak.

What size screws did you use to mount the Scotty Mount on the front support bar?
@jonping8
@jonping8 8 месяцев назад
I am sorry for the delay in getting back with you. I used 1/4-20 screws as they are a good standard in all of my kayak and boating stuff. As far as the length, I will check on that, but it is probably 2 1/5 inch maybe. Just enough to get all the way through and secure with a washer and lock nut. I did have to drill out the aluminum some to fit the larger screws.

I ended up doing like Sea Eagel does on the fishskiff and use #6 1" truss head stainless steel sheet metal screws.@@jonping8

Can you just attach the motor or is there a battery somewhere
@jonping8

This particular motor you'll need to use one of their proprietary batteries. They have several different sizes as well.

I own this and two 420Xs from sea eagle I have few other things from them too, a electric pump is MANDATORY to not deal with the heartattack risk. I CALLED sea eagle BEFORE purchasing this, they told me when I told them my details INCLUDING alot of rapids I go down I was told a few times on conference call with 3 people listening the person tells me it does EVERYTHING including rapids. I learned that was a complete LIE! My 420Xs from them are amazing this is WORTHLESS. Going sale it this summer. TRIED to use one day. On a score of 1-10 for rapids MINUS 10!

I got the pump in today and it is by far better than using the manual pump. Besides taking less time and effort, I think the boat pumped up more than what I did. I'll definitely need to get back out and do more tests as I think it'll perform better. I see on their site that the 437 is not rated for rapids. I wonder if that was before or after you tried it. I would love to try some of their other kayaks and boats. They are well built and you can really see that.

@@jonping8 it was added AFTER I complained many times about being told that. The two 420x my family use are much better in EVERY situation.
