Hello! Thanks for share with us. Im in love with the Husky but i don't like at all gas engines, i prefer nitro engines. I have an old O.S Ft-120 Gemini II , what do you think about use the O.S with the husky? Maybe underpowered? . Donuts are 5,5"? Thank you!!!
But no information at all about the planes specs? Not even a link in the description to understand what we are looking at. Is the goal to drive viewers to your website or away from it?
Typical taildragger trick with videos...always takeoff/land on grass. You know very well you could've takeoff and land on the asphalt runway...but you didn't. Answer? on asphalt runways taildraggers have a tendency for groun loop, and takeoffs/landings are not straight. Thus, the viewer thinks it's very difficult to takeoff-land the rc plane and won't buy it. Solution to minimize this? Takeoff/land on grass to maximize drag and steering effect. Nice try guys. Also nice plane. Takeoff and land it on the beautiful runway you show here...let's see.👍😆
Well, you're almost right... DuBro provided those big wheels for my review of the Husky. Now what good would it do to have a big ol' pair of 5" wheels rolling down a shiny flat runway? Have you ever seen those guys with the big bush wheels on their real planes landing on asphalt runways? Nope! They'll choose grass too! It had nothing to do with the plane being a handful on the runway and everything to do with running the big wheels in the proper terrain!
Geoff Barber the reason you never see the guys with big bush wheels landing their real planes on runways is because it wears down the tires a lot quicker than off field landings
