this coincided with the first fall air in new orleans one morning, surreal, combined with a second chance at engineering school, yes the nineties were productive finally. This song transcends similar to 'under the milky way' and 'its my life'.
Fantastically complicated with a strong message. Seal has, and always will be genius to my ears and mind as a classically trained musician who enjoys his music.
Enough negativity, this song can put you in another state of mind, if you let it. I used to street/road race back then, nothing more powerful then taking a 40 mph curve on a two lane blacktop at 90+ hitting the apex, staying in your lane, bringing the car right to the edge and staying in control while listening to this, way late at night when no other cars are driving.
Such a great song. Never outdated, never boring. I played this CD over and over agian when I was travelling through India. Whenever I hear this song, it brings back very good memories.

This voice is never forgotten ... It is recorded in your auditory memory, even more so in eternity ... A thousand blessings friend with your sweet voice!
Your comment gave me warm full body tingles. This is so incredibly spiritual.. some of us are feeling the transcendence now and I'm grateful to have been reminded of this beautiful anthem to freeing ourselves, looking inward, remaining soverign.
The minute I heard this, and the rest of the album, I was mesmerized. And he wasn't that well known yet, so I turned him on to a lot of people. What a different style than anything I'd ever heard before. Never gets old!!
When I hear this song, lots of memories flood back. I was on active service in military. This track was played a lot in NAAFI bar. We all had to be a bit crazy to survive it all.
This song is a deeply spiritual song. Basically asking the question how will humanity survive in the coming age? We will have to warp our minds around the truths that we will face, just to survive. Some will rely on faith others drugs, etc. It's a very deep message, blew my mind the first time I listened to it. Love it. I believe the first Lyrics may be "Take a chance price of faith" . That's just part of the beauty and mystery of this song.
To be fair ... 'by the face' makes no sense; whereas brides of faith implies young girls in confirmation dresses wedded to an unseeable god. Which, if you are looking for mystery and allusion? Pretty much is Seal in a nutshell. However, I do bow to the interwebs .. just can't figure out what the words mean.
Same with me ,I was also in chicago#good old days#now I am living my life with my family in Netherlands,at that time I used to put this song while riding my norton commando.
I do not know why but I have had this song earworming me for about 2 weeks now. To be honest I completely forgot that it was SEAL who did it. This song but even more "kiss from a Rose" old deep meaning for me, especially since my GF passed away in 2020. I always loved that song as a kid but it hits home pretty hard now when i hear it. The small things that we attribute (especially love). When my GF passed away, it was on Halloween night, which again was something I have loved as a child; smacks you with a " you could not have passed on a better night " mixed with " i don't think i like Halloween anymore! " It's hard to forget your feelings. I know that just because she's gone doesn't mean I should not stop looking Halloween, she wouldnt want me to find negativities in something i enjoy, but what was pure pleasure replaced with 'some' sombre lingering. People always pick a bad time, is what we say, as there never really is a good time to die 👼👁️♥️U

@@tristinkelsoe3029 1 - How the hell do someone dance a song based on the fall of the Berlin Wall? 2 - Unless you're talking about remix versions, becuse the original - no way... I literally can't imagine any choreography matching Crazy's style
So so true, another old song but so so true............................!Don't knock yourself if you are different, we are what makes the world go round.
Funny what u said. I was much younger n was going through a psychtherapy; complicated phase, when this song was released and i went to this Show here in Rio that summer...! Looking back this music seems to be kind of like a prophecy.. I think i had a Deja Vu with your comment. Wow, how many years i don't feel like that. the feeling that it have happened already. Sorry.
Between the sky and earth" . Good voice and specific attitude , significant smooth simplicity . All more then ... ! But eternity is everything the children and have a road after...!
Lovely. Thank you Seal, you are a wonderful singer. You were my favourite. Really inspiring song. Thank you my utube for great channel..thank you my favourite VODAFONE. For sharring this beautiful music God bless you.
I haven't heard this song in forever! I've been listening to songs I remember from when I was a kid, from the 80's and 90's. They don't make music like this anymore! Sure, some stations play songs like this once in a while, but most of the time, it's newer pop music. I wish there was a station that played exclusively 80's and 90's pop.
+Tristan Wassman There are loads of stations that only play specific music/years. Download tunein radio and browse, the choice is endless from all over the world
Tristan Wassman coldplay is filling that void for me I'm an 80s 90s kid to and I agree with your in that they don't market good music much anymore. Medicine for the people. Black mill, all good inspirational vibes. ;)
If you're ever around the Toronto (Canada) area, there's the Boom 97.3 radio station that plays exclusively 70s, 80s, and 90s music. Actually, they have their own website where you can listen to their station in real-time, anywhere in the world, so as long as you have an internet connection you can check them out. This station was on over the speakers at my work a few times in the past and I've discovered so many good songs from the past.
Timeless classic! Still resonates today...🖤 ..."but we're never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy"...😞 Strange + Crazy times we're living in now...😑
This is my favorite SEAL song. I will be cooking on the kitchen as this song plays over & over on a loop. Of course I'm dancing & ainging in the spatula. 😂😂😂😂
Beautiful music and a beautiful voice. I don't know what kind of madness it is. There have always been people who believe in God. Some of them have the grace of God and the gift of prophecy. Only those who walk in God's way will survive. Whether someone calls it a little madness is irrelevant. Survival or eternal life is guaranteed. Thank you God, it was all true, do with.. If you don't understand, I regret it.
First time I heard Seal was watching Saturday Night Live's Halloween show way back in 1994 and this one's his best ever . It moved mountains for me then and still does in 2019 ....
There is nothing better than being able to sing the lyrics of a song and capture the meaning of whoever wrote it. This song is so beautiful, so poetic! That we come to travel in its versos and melody.....
