We are unfortunately only treating the symptoms of the plastic crisis with our rescues. The goal of these videos is to show the consequences of this pollution and create a change to tackle its roots - namely our addiction to single-use plastics, the lack of law enforcement at sea and the shortcomings of the recycling industry.
Man you guys can run!!!!! And you vision is way beyond my vision! The only seal I’ve seen at a distance to be rescued was the one that was wearing the plastic vest! Well done you! Thank you for the rescues! ❤️🦭❤️
Wow!! What an action-packed morning! Five seals caught and saved in just a few minutes. Great coordination and teamwork by all the members. That was very exciting to see. Thank you OCN team!
Makes me so sad to see so many seals in a bit of trouble from human garbage . Heart breaking Glad they r all full of energy and ready to go back into the water after the garbage is off of them … Some of the debris that is so tight and the tension is cut off it horrific to see. Poor guys.
What an altruistic calling you guys have undertaken! It is so fascinating and uplifting to see you guys save these seals from certain trauma. Great job guys! You really are a different and noble Seal Team!
That was AMAZING!!! Five seals rescued and released so fast!! Your team is really in tune with each other and work so well with the seals and work so well with each other 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
That bull must have felt sooo fantastic and free after having the bag removed. It's like being freed from a tight pair of pants you had on all day 😃 You all do such great work helping the seals 🙌🙌🙌
There should be a Humanity Hall of Fame, you acknowledge and reward your efforts to keep the seals healthy. Your team's commitment and compassion for these beautiful sea mammals is extraordinary 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing! These men are absolutely amazing! There are no more words in the vocabulary. Namibia must be proud of you. There are not many groups in the world that, with so few people save so many seals. OCN you are superb. From Italy maximum respect! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇮🇹👏🏻
Incredible video guys..but heartbreaking to see so many puppies entangled and injured due to the inability of humankind to keep trash out of our beautiful oceans, and their home. OCN a debt of gratitude to you all for your compassion and the countless lives you save. Keep safe all 💜🇬🇧💜
When I see you guys dashing into the hundreds of seals I wonder how many more are there with plastic around their necks......... I am happy when you manage to help those few....... its a real never ending story saving those seals. THANK YOU AND MAY YOU SAVE MANY MORE. Great work you guys 👦👏🙌👍💪
Нет слов благодарности вашей команде.Огромное уважение и спасибо за вашу нелегкую работу.Есть еще хорошие люди в этом черством мире.Благополучия и здоровья вам и вашим родным.
It's a good thing you have so many nets now, 5 in one go with one spotted on the way to another, it looks like the days of consecutive catch and release are over, I'm sure your legs are thankful. Great work guys, I've been calling you the Seal Shepherds to myself for awhile now, I never thought it would become a reality lol
Remember playing ring toss at the carnival? 🎟🎡🎢🎠🤹♂️🎪 OCN Team plays net toss on a bob of seals & WINS!! 🎯🏆🙌🤩 *He Lā Maika’i Loa!!* _Have A Great Day!_ 🦭🌊
It kind of looks like when i see dog daycare centers with those persons that goes for walk with 10 dogs in leashes. Not bad handling 4 seals there Wally.
No matter how many videos I watch, I’m always in awe that in a virtual sea of seals, you find the ones you are looking for and save them from a life of misery & early death. You are all heroes!
Oh how I wish Namibia TV news, morning and night, showed parts of these clips to tell the story and get the word out! 📢 Nice, nice work, men! Super! Thanks. 🌈
Good job today! The team was stacking them deep like a used car lot, getting everybody repaired and out the door. Bonus points to Tony for trying to talk that one seal into not running away! 😂
Восхищена работой ребят по спасению животных слаженная гуманная работа. Смотрю впервые Видео прекрасное,освещает все подробности.Надо лучше наказывать браконьеров.Все беды животных от них.
_OCN TO THE RESCUE!!!_ Watching all of you run into the seal colony and operate with such efficiency is awesome! Your camera guy sure has his work cut out for him. I love hearing your individual commentaries as you work. Thank you again❣🦭🌊🥰
Every innocent life is so precious.🙏 we need to show compassion to all animals.❤ let’s all be kind and help more animals we need.🙏thank you and god bless you all .🙏🙏🙏
Fast backwards about 1.5 years - Naude working alone, without a net... And now - multiple members, multiple nets, multiple saves!!!! Amazing teamwork, thank you guys!
Sorry, but could you elaborate where you got this information? I'm not saying that OCN hasnt been growing but literally the very first video (the first video still viewable anyway) posted to this channel is of Naude and his colleagues catching seals together with a net. On top of that, in the interview with Naude on the channel Scientific Society Swakopmund, Naude states they've been doing this regularly for around 4 or 5 years. Not sure if you know something I don't or if I know something you didn't (or if you're just blatantly spreading misinformation) but it seems that your comment contains a fair bit of innacuracy.
