On the front of my cover it has a elastic band and a fabric loop. I just put the elastic band around the bow of my boat. The loop I did not use nor do I know what it's for. Thanks!
@@4ReelAnglin thank you for the reply. I don't have anywhere good for mine. Seems like it wants to go somewhere on the trailer to be taunt but nothing lines up good and center.
It looks like it does not fit well at all .do you just use it to keep dust out of it .That would not last 15 minutes driving down the rad would it ? The motor cover is way to big also
I agree the fitment is not great. I just use it for dust, I keep the boat under a carport. I don't think that it would do well on the road either, even though the website listed it for on road use. The motor cover is definitely way to big. I got the cover for a deal, but I don't think it is worth full price in my opinion. Thank you.
I bought a custom fit for my Rinker Captiva 192 and it fits too loose for trailering. It flaps around in the wind at highway speeds and there is no way to tighten it up with the straps provided. I think the wind and flapping will cause it to have a short life. Seal skin support was not much help.
I bought one like it for my tri toon pontoon boat two years ago. It “fit” nothing like the way it is shown in the ads and was horrible all winter. Extra material flapping around, buckles constantly coming loose and the support poles falling over causing very heavy puddling. Shrink wrap was much better last year.
It's been holding up very well in my opinion. No issues so far. Keep in mind I really just use it to keep the dust off my boat as it is under a carport. I have never driven on the road with it. If you have any specific questions I would be happy to answer them!
