i did the bowdens threeway with decon clay bar , then flash prep , then seal n shine , the water beads are ok but the sheeting and chem resistance is why i used seal n shine plus u can top with a wax on seal n shine , i used gyeon wet coat on it , its mint

Seal and shine still sheeting water really well at the end . Great value for money too

Nice video! I recommend for your future vidoes to let the products cure for 24 hours between layers - 15 minutes is too short in my experience and most products want a couple hours to set before adding another layer minimum. I would also give 24 hours before starting any wash tests. Full blown ceramic coatings need 7 days to see peak curing, and these ones should be given a day minimum as most people would not apply them and then immediately wash the car the next day in real life.

Crazy I have seen text of the nc jet and that stuff lasted more time by far so I don’t know why it got beat so fast

also i believe if you wait at least 6 hours or more between applying the 2nd layering you have better results or even better wait 24 hours and then apply a 2nd coating IMHO?

Finally the products I wanted to see test against one another Have been using seal n shine and jet, surprised jet didn't hold up and have used it on my 4x4 with decent durability.

Application couldn’t have been right because I know these products ( at least seal and shine and nv jet) personally for me will start to even bead the soap off the cars I don’t think they should’ve been hit that hard by a light degreaser or even something that’s ph neutral. Seal and shine for me has been an outstanding product in terms of durability I use it for all of my maintenance washes and when they come in the water still solidly beads with nearly no sheeting at all, however definitely appreciate the match up and that’s just my experience so take it lightly no hate brother 💯

It's interesting that car craft detailing channel nova jet beat everything when it comes to beading and chemical resistance and on other channels its* one of the 1st to fail. I wonder if the formula changed or is something else going on, the only thing I can see is cure times. I would always allow 24 hrs to cure before testing. Seal and shine is vary good at darkening panel, so if you want gloss and shine it's definitely not the best. Honestly bowdens is the best overall in opinion as far as price and performance. Also the better you prep the surface the better the bond and usually increases longevity.

First fail I have seen on NV jet! Have you tried testing luster?

Bit baffled how magma effected the sealents, its PH neutral, ive spoken to reps and one of the Autoglym bosses in the UK when they came out to the Bathurst 1000 a couple years ago and we spoke on magma, its sole purpose is to target iron and wont strip wax or sealents so how it effected this test seems odd, other then that good vid..ignore the haters on the detailing FB page ;)

With bead machine you can spray and wipe but obviously your not going to get the best and most out of the product

a bit late on commenting on this but at this point bowdens is better as no uv protectant with seal and shine. there is a new formula for seal and shine which is due in australia around feb 2022 which does have uv protection.

on proper testing with proper curing nova jet would shit all over the other 2 products give you props for doing the video grasshopper

Price differential not on special? Oh and your testing introduces products and their residue on each other so not accurate at all. Even your cleaning cloth is contaminated with all 3 products 👎🏽

Bro why haven't you dried the surface prior to each application of varying products you apply? Their essentially diluted and efficacy of each product is nullified. NV Jet is the better of the 3 in reality despite this testing procedure . Just saying , your methodology is flawed! Good on ya though.

Very bad test. This is the first test where I have seen nova Jet fail.
