Get you a edging brush they are like 6 inch wide and makes life easy. Also carry a spray bottle with water if you get it on a sidewalk spray it down real fast and you won't even see it but it has to be right away
Good video, but can do a better one by taking out each item and lay them outside where we can see better. You can then go over each item. Please do another video thanks
What is everybody paying their workers per hour? I live in North Central Ky., what should I pay someone with 10 years experience or someone who is new to the job?
Well I have learned I do not like the new emulsion sealer my supplier switch to so I sold the whole unit didn't like the end product the customer was getting.
See that's where i think seal coat company's mess up at why wouldn't you run a pressure washing job right before you seal coat and hit two birds with one stone... Im gonna start getting into this business but i really have been thinking of investing into both and power wash the drive for extra money included into the sealcoat cost.... Idk might just be me but i can't turn down extra money for maybe a extra hour or two too power wash it before it is sealed
What do you do with the empty drums? To fill the tank on the machine do you have to fill the hose with water to pressurize it? If it’s hot outside so you need to add some water to the sealer?
The drums I just clean out with water and I have a few people that take them and reuse them. Yes I have to prime the hose with water. On the drum it tells you how much water should be added but I figure by the time I add water to the hose and do my clean up after filling that is about the correct amount of water.
great set up man! where do you get your sealer from? how do you get it in the tank? I'm just starting out in this business and im trying to decide whether I should start and invest in a small tank like yours or just bucket method for now. thanks and keep up the vids!
@@dirtworxsolutions awesome bro thank you! In your experience how long does it usually take to get it delivered? I saw that there website says 5-10 days but just kinda wanna get ur feedback. thanks again!
I’m coming in to seal your driveway not cut your grass and trim your trees lol have it cut and ready or it’s getting sprayed..grows out anyway in a week.. don’t even want to get into repairing people‘s driveways… Just wanna get in seal a decent driveway and move on.. people are cheap and want it done for nothing.. ✌️ nice vid btw..
Instead of sealcoating, why not rejuvinating the asphalt. It's better for the asphalt's longevity and only requires one coat.😮 Oh! Never mind I get it. It cuts into your profit (and the asphalt contractors who make a lot of $$ on repaving or overlaying, right?
Love the walk through and about 3 weeks from opening my buisness. Was wondering what kind of price points your looking at, in my area it ranges from .15 to .45 cent a sq.
That's awesome hope it works well for you. In our area we are getting .19 cents a sq ft on driveways over 3000sq ft and 1.25 a foot for cracks and a little more for driveways smaller than 3000sq ft. Hope that helps thanks for the comment.
@@dirtworxsolutions Im running Google Ads and Facebook Ads. Haven't started yet but have about a dozen jobs ready to go. People around here wait for the driveway to completely fall apart than call to have it seal coated think its going to give them a brand new driveway 🤣🤣🤣
