Leave them there because thats how urbex works. It would be super temping to take them though, but that turns the activity from urbex to burglary even if the property is abandoned. Ive had to fight this in court before, it isnt fun nor cheap lol
I would try and salvage whatever I could find! Man I wish I could run across this Mansion or something like it. Everything in that house brings me back when I was a kid in the late 90's.
Came from pokerev, bet you guys are getting tons of DM's from people asking you where the place is so they can "check out" the place and rob those pokemon/sports cards 100%. Also some of the comments from people here are just seething with jealousy about how "ohh you thief! If i can't get those packs then you can't either! I'm going to report you to the police". Even if they did take them no body is going to get sued since the place was abandoned for over 20 years. It's pathetic to see how greed is getting to all these people. With that being sad, as crazy at it sounds, some of those packs have life changing money right there.
I can picture this too! I'd have taken all of them I think from what I've seen before some of those sports cards can be with way more than pokemon cards. I just hope he doesn't tell anyone where it is cause there will be hundreds of people going there else.
That's wild. Seeing all that vintage stuff was so nostalgic to me it took me back to late 90s early 2000s when I was just a kid in 1st and 2nd grade... Standing on that fossil and jungle pack was just insane. It's ashame what happened to that Mansion. I wonder what the backstory is. 🤔
All those "cards" plus Marlboro shopping baskets makes me think These people had a store of some kind that went out of business & they brought all the inventory home. Just saying And ain't nobody coming back for this stuff so go for it😘
I wonder why it was abandoned.. this place would be amazing if it were renovated if there were no toxicity found in/out of the house. Do you guys ever share the location? Thank you for the great content!
@@starlxrd868but why wasn't it resold and taken by the bank or family take it over. I'm curious how they just got in the house because it's still property.
If you look closely enough one of the local newspapers is from New Jersey, plus at the time the NY Post was huge in the Tri-State area. Most likely the abandonment date was between 2004-2005. To me it looks like a very wealthy family with kids once lived there, makes you wonder what the backstory is to abandon a home like that. I appreciate the respect for leaving all of those treasures. Awesome content!
This place is full of expensive junk. It always amazing to see the kind of stuff people collect and then abandon. Well you can't take it with you. More so when it sits around in water. You comment when seeing the doll house was cool " an abandoned house in an abandoned house" what a concept. Great tour guys. Thank you.
If I were to make an assumption, I would say whoever owned this house not only could not afford it, but over spent on all of these things that were found in the house. Seemed like someone who may have over leveraged with things like collectibles and wasn't able to afford all of the things they were buying, including the house.
If you didn't take those playboys and pokemon cards you must've had no childhood. The good news is it's never too late to relive the childhood you never had.
You need respirators. There is a video where Dan Bell explains he once caught a bad black mold infection and resulted in a cough that wouldn't go away.
What are the laws around abandoned property like this? I'm sure there's a ton more nuance than I'd understand, but it's crazy how a whole huge house like this just gets abandoned.
This house is unique; it effectively stands out from other derelict houses. It is also a great example of the evanescence of material things - supposedly valuable objects - someone once took the time to earn money and then buy all these valuable things with it - and now it all lies abandoned, forgotten by the whole world.
The dolls house upset me the most. I presume when the hurricane hit they fled and then never came back, wished you would had looked at some dates on the papers
@@UrbexAndChill i can’t blame ya on that one sir something you may never see again unless you wanna pay hundreds or even thousands for a pack on eBay these days
The orange tag on the first pokemon pack 349, if this really was abandoned back in 2003 the dollars price was 12 pesos so 349/12= 29 dollars. Definitely not mexico maybe Colombia. Or somewhere else in Latin America
Oh my god all those sealed cards… the Brady and Lebron sealed packs from their rookie years are probably worth way more than the Pokémon cards. Hit me up if you did take some. I’ll buy depending on condition.
Very 90s vibe until the ceiling dropped and made it so messy! I'm sure it got hit my all sorts of storms since it was abandoned! You can tell that most of the basement was underwater at some point! You can tell whoever lived here collected not just cards, but other things all ruined now!
We got it, there's alot of Pokémon and basketball cards in this house. However, the fact that you examined every one you found made this vid drag on & on.....
@@UrbexAndChill i wonder if you took the packs or left it there i mean yes its nice to have but on the other side it feels like you steal from it.. unless you buy the property then i understand its yours
@@UrbexAndChill It feels like it's hard for you to be honest about if you took cards/packs with you or not and it really shouldn't be. As you wouldn't have done anything wrong, Imagine how lucky you were to even find this gem of a place AND you are already into cards (it seems) so guess what: There's a reason why you specifically were guided there, they knew.
Everybody crying about it's stealing if you take the packs you either must be trolling or the most shelter person in the world its abandoned key word abandoned
Well this is getting interesting I always hoped to make a crazy find some day maybe that opportunity will come eventually but for now ill just stay here and chill 😎
What you were looking at in the pool area was one of the very first swim/exercise spas. Also, I really wish you explores would wear masks and gloves. The mold, insulation, and asbestos is not good for your bodies. A lot of homes built in the 70’s have asbestos in them. 🙏
The hot tub is a hot tub on one side and a wave pool on the other and exercise pool. It’ll send out a current of water in your swim against the current for exercise.
Pokemon Mansion in real life. At least close to it. Strange that the mansion looked, well, ruined, but the Ouija Board didn't. 6:41 The Last Supper. Its faded already but I still can figure it out.
The place is abandoned and has been for years, those card packs are fair game as far as I'm concerned. I would LOVE to open just one vintage booster pack someday, never got to when I was a kid. It's too bad this place apparently was found and raided by people just looking for an easy flip.
That pack on the stairs is a 600 dollar pack graded a 10 incased lol darn. So sad to see if it was hurricane Katrina she destroyed everything. Hopefully the family got out safely
