After all that time i spent on this diamond painting I thought I would seal it with some mod podge sealing spray. Mod podge- walmart.ca ($15.99 CAD) Follow me: / roseycrafts18 / rosey.crafts.18
I've tried this product on my crushed glass, chard mirror, and glitter projects and I have to say I love it! I've never worked with diamond paintings, but this spray have kept my pieces very, very, very, shinny, I do however apply 3-5 coats just to be on the safe side and I wear a mask, and work in my garage (you definitely need a ventilated area to work with this product). To be on the safe side I wait 30 min. or more between each coat and I definitely handle it after 6-12 hours. I would like to know how well this product holds up outdoors though. I've heard that it holds up pretty well, however I haven't tried it.
I just sprayed some on some charms outside and I maybe shouldn't do this when it's below freezing out. XD I don't know if it's going to set and I don't want to bring it in the apartment because acrylic fumes are no joke.
Yeah your actually supposed to use the spray on top of the brush on stuff, Lightly just to get rid of the stickiness and give it that extra gloss finish!
Thank you so much for this video. I Just finished my first product and had no idea where to go from there. 😂. With the brush on mod podge does it look yellow ish at all?? Also what do you store your beads in??
I'm glad you liked it.. I haven't tried the brush on mod Podge but I heard that over time it does become yellow. For my head storage I have a case that has bottles. If you take a look at my very first video I show it in there.
I have done the same Diamond art. I used the Mod Podge hi shine, and it's no longer glittery. I've let it set overnight in a warm room, and it still looks cloudy. I'm pretty upset because I love the way this one is really glittery. Any ideas on what I can do? I did apply 4 coats, that might be why.
