Seam embellishment for men's fashion corset vest. 

I got men's corset/vest stuck on my brain, planning a sew along in a few months for this make. going to take a simple vest pattern and modify it to a fashion corset/vest.
Doing a test seam and seam embellishment for the men’s corset/vest sew along, I will be doing in a few months,
Never made a corset like garment before, so all new to me on this one. Made a few vests and waistcoats over the years.
I like the look of the retail garment, and only have images from there website to work off of, so not sure exactly how the seam look or are made but will doing something similar or better (or what I think is better).
Going to use a structured knit for the final version, I do have the silhouette of the model, so not making at form fitting to shape support as a genuine corset, so I will call it a fashion corset vest.
Will be using boning, plastic or polyester, not metal.
