If you accidentally make a mess, or get the silicone where you don't want as he mentioned towards the end of the video, Paint Thinner will clean up WET silicone. Once it dries you cannot get it off, but if it's still wet you can wipe it off with a small amount of paint thinner on a rag.
Thanks for the video! How long will it last if I seam seal it once? If the seam sealed tent exposed to the rain for a long time, it melts and disappears?
Thanks for the video. Do you recommand sealing seak outside Seans on the inside or on the ouside of the tent, or both? I always thought that it should be done on the inside but it seems you do it on the outside.
Thanks! It held up great in a week of heavy pnw rain. One question though, how do I fix small holes caused by embers? I'm bummed that I have two holes in the tent from this weekend, not sure how that happened but maybe I need to remove my chimney cap. Do I silicone the holes or is there a patch?
