Seamless Co-op Mod Tutorial in Elden Ring! 

question, do both me and my friend need to install the mod to play together or is it just one of us?

@@amauryenriqueguzman-desang9616 both need the mod installed. you will start the game later with the mod-launcher.

How this the loot around the map work? Can they also get the same weapon or things like that

@hit_that_sheitt8957 it's weird. Basically any drop from a boss or any item you find on the ground can be picked up by both players whenever they want. If u know where a somber stone and your mate picks it up, you can pick it up whenever you want it'll be there for you too

@Sciet747 no, it's more so there is 1. Lets say there's a somber stone lv 1 in this open field that is always there. Your friend can pick it up and it'll still be there for you but not for him. You can then pick it up and then it's gone and it's the same if you pick it up first then you can't see it or pick it up again but your friend can. You can pick up double items and drop them to your friend or your friend can drop it to you. So if you get the grafted blade from castle morn you can have your friend drop it to get 2 as if you're playing online but you and your friend will only receive one from the boss

i just found that if you take your co2 file and rename it to sl2, it will transfer the seamless save to your original game. You basically just do the reverse.

I know the seamless coop mod scales up enemy health for how many players you have in game, but tbh it's still substantially easier than solo. I'm not familiar with any mods that you can balance that out though unfortunately. If you check the link in the description, the mod details all of the changes it makes. Thank you

Yes you should progress like normal regardless of who you are with, if you have a fresh account and join a friend that also is starting over, when you leave their game, you should keep the progression you made in their game, also you share items and pickups. Although it's not perfect, make sure to sit at all bonfires even if your teammate did because sometimes you might not get it. Fast travel has a voting system, if you die during a bossfight then you spectate your team mate. That's a basic run down on how it works. Oh also the enemies are scaled with teammates

Yes that's why there a separate launcher. As long as you do not overwright your ".sl2" (vanilla save file) with the ".c02" (modded save file). Hope this helps!

Yes, even chest items and loot, quest items that are dropped by bosses will be given to you and whoever was in the encounter, although, when you are fighting a boss, if a teammate dies, they will be forced to spectate u til the encounter ends. It has glitched for me once or twice where I was spectating when my teammate killed the boss and didn't get the loot when he got it. Only happened once or twice. We were getting larval tears. Again it happens very rarely but it's something to keep in mind. Also, if you join a friend's world, your world should progress even if you leave theirs

No, the separate game launcher only opens your modded accounts and normal elden ring will only open the vanilla accounts without reading the modded profile. Basically so you don't get banned

You and your friend need to have the same code for the seamless coop file

The website says 6 total, but I've seen people do more, not sure how they did. I've tested with 3 players and it worked fine. But yea looks like 6 total for the mod itself

I found a reddit post discussing it, not sure if it works since I haven't tested It though. Just Google "seemless coop steam deck elden ring" then it should come up
