That drive shaft for the rollers on the bar piercing machine!!! That beast has gotta be driven by at the very least a gear reduced 1Mw motor.

This is the first seamless pipe mill in Saudi Arabia, its name is JESCO.

i guess your knowledge needs to be updated... i m working in this plant and this mill is working perfectly fine and producing very good pipes.. its located in Al jubail, Saudi Arabia. Mittal is also building a new seamless plant and it is still under project stage.

Same type of equipment recently installed in Youngstown. Danieli mill with Kocks housings.

Well the production rate depends on the size of the pipe. Usually its around 30-60 pieces per hour.

But according to my knowledge this Mill located in Dammam has stopped producing Pies and is selling off its stock of Seamless Pipe.Now a new plant is being put up in Saudi by Mittal group in collaboration with Aramco

How do they dissipate all the heat that the equipment must absorb from all of that red hot material it has to handle all day long? Ha Ha I guess this is not a DIY project lol
