@@Franzifii what? It proves a lot about her. The feminist programming oozing from her and thus her life. Connery lived traditionally and peacefully until the age of 90 and had a happy family.
@@vergil1155 A divorce proves nothing. She could have been abused by her husband and filed for divorce because of it. It could have been her fault, but from just the divorce information, without any more information, one could at most suspect who caused the main problems, but surely not prove it.
And this is how all men should behave. Who cares what someone else thinks about you. Opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one, and they all stink. Life's too short to worry about someone else anyway. Keep in your lane and take care of your own. You will be happier for it.
The fact she didn't laugh at this but did there at the end shows this dude is slicker than wet ice. The tension in this interview is awesome. She's like "so you'd theoretically slap me, huh?" And he was like "you'd like that wouldn't you" 🤣
He's basically telling her she's stupid for believing in a feminist belief-system of "patriachy", because it's not about "patriachy", it's about how well you threat a person. Of course she would never get it, because her beliefsystem is there to suit her ego and to make her FEEL better. Ultimatively this is what makes her stupid.

@justin b no they don't. Sean is a legend on screen but comes across as the opposite of strong to me. Only a little pussy would slap a women. I am pretty hot tempered and can control myself even when my wife is being a POS, am 11st so almost half Sean's size but as a father if Sean was partner to one of my beautiful young daughters and slapped them, he would get more than a slap from me and regardless of how much stronger or bigger he was than me he would have to Bury me. Men should treat their partners as they would want their daughters or mothers to be treated. If things get too hot walk away
She's a bad journalist too, very rude. And as a woman I can tell you why she acted this way towards him, first to satisfy the stupid audience that find her amusing and second is that she finds him very attractive so she is using this technique to get on his nerves so that he would be interested in her. Since she thinks so highly of herself she didn't count on being called stupid.
They have no control over it we need to go back to the old ways or they'll continue to end up alone and separated. They have this inferiority insecurity, when it's how life is, they'll continue this until we get back control and at this point it's needed because if they can't control themselves they're better off being controlled by GOOD men for a successful relationship otherwise they're fucked.
I love that interview and it demonstrates why Sean Connery is loved admired and respected by both men and women alike. A true diplomat in dealing with the most inflammatory topic the world has ever known. Unable to be triggered yet stood his ground. This video will be studied in by future generations in order to help them understand both how to act like a man and yet be honest and gain the respect of women. Bottom line is...Sean Connery does not lie to himself. And he is a real man. A very brave but loving man. He will be missed. RIP Sean Connery!
different times friend. it was 1987 and males ruled still. as said here already. he was talking in sense of what he only knew already his whole 57 years of life at that point to be true to him.
The smiling and laughing totally suggest he thought this entire thing was utter bullshit. He’s a macho, old school guy. It’s a dying breed. People are growing into a state where they don’t understand that anymore. His comments about women are the only thing racy here.
She wasn't being judgmental as there's nothing to judge in the first place, he's just calling it as it is. He kept his cool while confronting her and did not fall for her attempts at provoking him, that's why she sported that little "attitude" throughout the interview, she lost. She wanted him to either lose his temper or to submit to her like a good western boy, he didn't and she was visibly frustrated.
@@rachaelt8729You know whats also extreme? Disrespect. Both men and women in this society especially with social media think they can say anything and provoke anything without repercussions... yeah, no not in this case....of course, different era, different moors, no need to cry on this....but if you say it's ok to be violent with women, then women so have a right to violently argue with you....of course, today, with cringer whiney SJW yelling and taking offense for ridiculous things, this interview looks like gold, but it's not really an example to follow....
@@bretonneux3389 I understand that it's a weakness for a man to physically assault or hurt a woman... but just like the occasional smacking of a child, sometimes depending on the circumstance such actions are warranted. Generally speaking it's a no no of course but if there is an emotionally reactive woman who will not listen to sense or reason to the point of becoming aggressive and or harmful... sometimes it's the only resort that could work.
Was at work once and this older coworker called me over and said what everyone was thinking about the woman with the oversized breast in extra tiny revealing shirt. “ look at them titties”
regarding Connerys comment on slapping women Barbara: "Remember thaaatt?? Connery: "yea" Barbara: "yeeeaaaa...." Connery: "i havent changed my opinion" LOL!!!
@pillowjunkie5 your 1st mistake was assuming in your argument that its an incorrect position, 2nd you then create a strawman argument that men who find Connery's stance funny are somehow "triggered". i think it was you that was triggered, try not to project too much lol.
@pillowjunkie5 typical of a woman to get so butthurt over an opinion and joke that men make that they get so emotional and start making up reasons for it, like men must be "triggered" or threatened by new age ideas, all this butthurt over an online opinion no less lol. please tell me youre a woman, it would be even sadder if it werent the case.
“I still haven’t changed my opinion” The way he refuses to change who he is and his opinions and hide even in confrontation. He was the man. Politically correct or not
Exactly, just compare him with to Hollywood snowflake pussies of today. They change their mind and opinions under the pressure of the public. 50cent "I vote Trump" 1 day later after backlash "I dont vote for Trump, let me apologize" :DD For fuck sake, have some balls and stand your ground! @Clutch7 And today it is so because we let it be, not confronting that toxic ideas and not giving a shit about PC and what others think about ourselves. Sean was the man.
He is a very real man he is trying to explain how the sexes really work, a man can love his wife & family very much, but also earn the living & have enjoyment with male friends & the two are separate, nothing wrong with his thinking this way!
She somewhat pretends to be classy but is a master in passive aggressiveness and she had a condescending attitude. I love how Sean kept his cool and was assertive in a charming way throughout.
It should not take a feminist or what you call a feminazi to be taken aback by Sean Connery's views on hitting women... this would be the rare time I would agree with Barbara Walter's look of disgust when she hears those words coming out of Sean's mouth ... While I agree that people sometimes face situations where they are driven to violence but its a whole other matter to find the violence agreeable as justified reaction when a woman gets on your nerves ... same if its the opposite way for a woman to be violent to a man for talking too much ... it should be a regrettable violence not one held up as a "correct" way to react ...
I don't think he's saying that. He's saying that he would have slapped a woman because they weren't taking his word as THE word. No where did he infer that he would slap everyone if need be. he didn't because I'm pretty sure he wouldn't just slap or hit a man for a disagreement.

She understands very well, but she wants him to submit to her by apologizing to mistakes he never made. He knows that it's nothing but a powerplay of a woman who is nothing but a bully. The average man out there would lose, because there are either repercussions for him (in a job or socially) or he doesn't have the necessary things going for him (also self-confidence) to see through her bullcrap. Sean Connery was equally beloved by women and men alike. I think that demonstrates how much merit there was to the line of questioning taken by this interviewer.
Some of that comes from independence. When one is not threatened by others, they can speak and act as they please. Cancel a multimillionaire? And... Cancel a paycheck to paycheck person and their life crumbles. We need more independent individuals. Ones able to challenge the narrative due to their ability to stand on their own. Sounds like he's a realist, I'd rather have people in my life who tell me things straight like he did instead of agreeing in person and talking differently behind my back
Say what you will about what Connery said, but it’s the way he carries himself that I find inspiring. He doesn’t change his opinion just for the sake of pleasing her, he proceeds to explain in an orderly fashion why he thinks those things, and even when he insists it’s a last resort and observes she’s taken what he’s saying out of context, he doesn’t sound desperate. I’ve dealt with customers, male and female, who are just like Connery describes. They can’t leave things alone, and when I give them my view on the incident they’re not happy with it and want to keep it going to the point where it’s as if they want to get into a provocative situation. Then I just think about what Sean Connery would do.

I love how perplexed he is by all her questions. He's just well grounded in his beliefs and ideals. This is how much of "normal" dudes feel whenever talking feminism. It's like they live in some alternate reality or they have a ton of incorrect judgements of us.
