Trivia: Sean Kanan starred in a 1987 horror film where his father owned a furniture store. The entire film was shot in a furniture store. No doubt the CK writers did this intenionally.

@@mysticranger6894 I'm not sure. I have a few opinions, but it might have something to do with the LGBT community and part of the plot twist. I think he's a big supporter. Maybe he thinks the film puts them in a bad light? I don't know.

I've seen a bunch of Kanan interviews , and every time someone gives him credit for how good of an actor or martial artist he is, he always seems to give credit to the writers and co-stars instead. Dude is insanely humble.

@@ZiggieChick3 Same. I had long been wondering how Jessica Andrews might fit into the Cobra Kai story, and it's clever how the producers managed it. Apparently, Jessica and Daniel stayed in touch after the events of KKIII, and at some point, Jessica introduced Daniel to her cousin Amanda...and the rest is history. I watch Karate Kid III a lot differently now, knowing how instrumental Jessica would be to Daniel's life later on. I also *loved* how we even got to meet Elizabeth Ann Rooney, who's still as much a bitch now as she was in 1985. If they can successfully bring such a minor offscreen character as her into the series, they can do it for anyone. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we see ol' Ned from The Next Karate Kid in Season 6 of Cobra Kai, or perhaps in the upcoming 2024 film.

Loved how Mike (fucking) Barnes was reintroduced into the show. Became kind of a wildcard. Just having the movies' 3 former villains be the ones to (drunkenly) attempt to take down Terry Silver was awesome. Definitely hoping he comes back. If there's a "Cobra Kai: Endgame", he needs to be there lol. Awesome that you got to interview him!

Awesome!! Great Questions. I just find it so ironic that Kannan, Zabka, and of course especially especially Ralph look sooo young for their age!! Ralph is 61 & was born in 61?! He is older than Thomas Ian Griffith who plays “Silver”& a Vitnam vet in real life 1985. Just had to bring that up. Anyone I tell that to as like no way whether their karate kid and cobra Kai junkies like us or not. By the way it’s not that Griffith looks old for his age it’s just that these guys look so freaking young like my age I’d say 43 what do you say so? I think most would. I mean help I have all my hair and have a glow to me at that age like Sean does. Probably won’t lol :(

I love how Mike was simply OP when he popped up into Cobra Kai, I truly can see how different the finale fight would have gone if Mike weren't blindsided with a lamp and taken out of most of it. Mike took out three people though with only basically three moves, two after a possible concussion with no resistance from them. Badass.

Mike Barnes' return was epic. I think a great idea for a spinoff is since Barnes' business was destroyed by Terry Silver, and he no longer needs to worry about money thanks to the "donated" Rembrandt Terry gave him, is that Mike starts his own private investigator business to atone for his past by helping others, in an anti-hero sort of way of course.

The only thing now is for season 6 who comes back? im not bothered to see Julie or anybody from the next karate kid, Mike Barnes was the last one I wanted to see. I would like to see more created flash backs like they have to explain how things came to be such as when they showed Kreeses and Silvers training in Korea. I really want to see a spin off showing a young Miyagi and Sato.

6:42 - Sean Kanan was right about this if you go to the youtube videos that shit was funny as hell watching Johnny warming up to "The Bad Boy" control intense Mike Barnes on Eagle Fang is what the doctor ordered for season 6. Barnes is the the only guy that has Karate World Champion experience that's why he is the BAD BOY... The writers clearly know this they are more hardcore into the show than any of us or else this show would not be the masterpiece my expectations for season 6 Mike Barnes more time for him on the show and fight with Senesi Kim and Julie Pierce

Season 5 kicked ass each season keeps getting better and I believe it can keep going. For at least till a season 10. There few more villains to come into the cobra cau verse like Michael ironside military guy from next karate kid. Could of know. Terry silver as well and. Could be one of his friends that he talks about which would be a good way to bring Julius into the mix and team up with miague do and eagl fang and Barnes can get back into karate also what about the 2 bad boys that were with Barnes in kk 3. Or butch from kk 1. So many opertnites and option for Cobra Kai keep it going cobra cau never dies
