The Los Angeles Rams defeated the New Orleans Saints 30-22 on Thursday Night Football in their final home game of the season. They improved to 8-7 and are keeping pace in the NFC's Wild Card race. Matthew Stafford finished with 328 passing yards and two touchdowns. Colin Cowherd explains why Sean McVay is one of the 'greatest coaches in American sports.' I think his point is that by the standard of other sports that's pretty low. That's only a 64% winning percentage, which is 11-6 in the NFL. The Chiefs have won more games than that every year of Mahomes's career, and some of those teams were not stacked like the dodgers are now. Baseball is a much flukier sport.

Dodgers aren't even in the top 5 for WS Championships so unless they at least get into the top 2 let's not yet start the hate train. The Yanks won 20 of 40 between 1923 and 1962. They were the most hated and loved at the same time. Made the wins for the Bums and other teams that much more special. Lol Colin is hilarious thinking that the MLB's problem would be if the Toronto Blue Jays got a good team. It's not exactly like the MLB is *thriving* in the US right now, at least when you have Canada being competitive, we see the overall US market rise to meet them. Look at the arms race that took place in the NBA soon as the Raptors won the chip in 2019. The US takes Canadians as a "farm" team, same as how Nick Nurse shows up in Philly in turbulence and Philly becomes godlike, and all the player development staff spreads throughout the big US markets and now every team is great.
