the thing with Dominick is that, I donno what it is but he's usually in a pissy mood, like he's visibly in a bad mood, and 50% of commentating is just being in a good mood so you're lowkey keeping the vibes high, that's why they put DC on every big PPV, because he's just happy and it doesn't matter he talks so much out of his a$# and doesn't do any research
Unless your a casual you would know the only trash talk or insults sean can think of is calling them short. It's lame, old, played out. Are they supposed to feel offended by bieng told somthing they already know?
People don't know MMA at all, they just know what the MSM shows them. The narrative is that O'Malley is bad, so they go with it. I literally have close friends refering to Suga as "McGregor's little friend". That's 99.999999% of people watching the UFC nowadays, hell, even some of the fighters are like that. People are painting chito to be the nicest human, when he's in reality super petty, salty, butthurt, and constantly crying over everything for no reason.
Whitaker is a great man and he is really good at being a announcer and reporter. He keeps it real and gives credit where it's due and he's respectful and is never trolling. Would love to see him keep it going after his fighter career is over. Claim that throne back Rob! Rooting for ya! A true Champion
I agree I think Corey Sandhagen poses a lot of threats that Sean O’Malley poses to other opponents and it would be a great fight stylistic wise to watch two offensive and defensive strikers and probably the most technical bantamweight fight ever
If you read the comments section, you'd think Chito does that all the time. It was all skill, just like punching someone and knocking them out apparently. I just wonder why Chito doesn't "toe to nerve" every fighter he's every fought, since it was definitely not a fluke lol
I think O'Malley is going to surprise people when he fights merab. I had him at my gym 3 years ago and was blown away with his grappling. Obviously his striking is insane.
Sean's going to knock him out... No one will be surprised anymore btw hahha. Everyone knows how good Sean is dude. He is obviously on a whole other level now. I'm pretty certain he's hitting his prime now after that Chito fight
Rob needs to be on the commentary panel after he hangs the gloves. wow great questions, massive respectfulness and just entertaining. UFC can you please replace DC's cheeseburger gut with Rob, ty
I'm glad not to hear Chandlers name. Finally for a minute, if Ferguson had it bad with gaethje, max has big issues, because boxing is nothing compared to a head on collision
The word fanboy gets thrown around far too much 😂 there's a difference between actual "fanboys" who spent their life on the nutsack of another man and Rob giving compliments to a fellow champion and young guy coming up, pause 😅
The fact that O malley INSTANTLY stopped chewing the gum and stood right up once he saw Rob clearly shows that he is much more respectful than he seems..
You can't deny that Chito can get the job done no matter what and at anytime during the fight. He has the W over O'Malley but if I was Chito I don't think that W would satisfy me, anyone else think the same? I'd want a decisive win No questions asked. It was a cheap win I think, Not anyone's fault. If Chito goes in this time and does exactly the same thing to Sean's leg then I'll come back and here and take this back...😂 watch him do it now. That all being said Sugar gets the W & Still TKO in the 3rd

Didn't get the KO but he literally dog walked chito. Domination in spectacular fashion. Let's go Suga.
I know man, hear the sound of that Knee when sugar caught him? Surprised he was still standing after that, Suga gave a clinical performance 👊🏼 I saw people doubting Dustin aswell but I had a feeling he would get the W. He kept trying for that gilly though
6 месяцев назад
@@mattdoliver1984 That knee was nasty, and I was literally screaming at the T.V saying stop going for the gilly and box his head off! So happy for Dustin. And JDM brought that dog out and got the finish on burns! Good day to be Aussie, needed it after seeing Volk fall from grace 😂
@ Yeah bro glad JDM got the win in the end I don't mind Gilbert though, I do cheer on the Aussies though but I'm From England bud, I was gutted when Volk lost, not to keen on ilia as he's a but cocky, can't deny his skill though
Robert Whittaker is so likable, well spoken, has so much knowledge of the fight game , would love to see him transition to broadcasting or commentary when he retires.
Imagine thinking you know about fighting when you think someone is better than the current champion for knocking out dominick cruz😂😂😂. You were an avid fan of the sport a decade ago at best, I don't know what kind of lnvalid you have to be to think something like that.
People are literally advocating for Islam to get a WW title shot despite having 1 ranked win in his own division. At least Sean is defending his belt against someone in his division before calling for a title fight at a bigger weight class.
@@omnipotentaus now that I can agree with. It’s just so silly how much I see MMA fans call for Islam to get a shot a double champ without having a singular title defense against a LW and having only 1 ranked win in his entire pathetic career, yet the same fans hate on O’Malley for wanting the same thing even though he has more ranked wins in his division and is actually defending his belt against someone his size. MMA fans are just hypocrites.
i love whittaker he is a LEGEND i would be so happy to see him snag the title once more before hanging up his gloves, i hope he joins in on commentary one day as well.
Love seeing Rob have this role with Fox sports. Having new career paths to go down after the fighting is so beneficial for these guys. Keeping them in the sport they love and contiuning to make a decent living.
Chito is dangerous tough and throws everything with bad intentions. This has potential to go down as one of the wildest fights ever. Sean has speed and a natural ability for counter striking and timing. Looking forward to this one. Don't blink 😅
Chito fans (aka suga haters) are something else! They, conveniently and opportunistically, milk an outcome while disregarding its respective context in order to deceive themselves and reinforce the fantasies that constitute their minds. The truth of the matter is that Omalley dominated Chito right until Omalleys leg completely gave out and he fell backwards. Additionally, the injury was caused by an unsuccessful leg kick. Omalley dodged the kick backwards and Chito’s big toe hit thats nerve by accident. An absolute FLUKE. Finally, the fight was stopped EXTREMELY early!
😂😂😂 omg you Omalley fan girls are the worst, I was fkn 4 years ago get over it!!! And stop fkn crying and making excuses for him. Their is no world in which Sean was ever dominating that fight and if you really think that you are a true casual and just a crying a*z fan girl. The stoppage was partially due to the injury but mostly due to Sean getting fkn flashed ko'd my guy. He's always wanted to be a basketball player in the octagon, well his mf head was bouncing off the octagon just like a basketball 😂 I can't wait to hear y'all's excuses if he loses again.
@@dawg3824 You literally proved my point. You lie to yourself in order to reinforce the fantasies that constitute your mind. Chito landed 2 good elbows. One of them made seans head to snap back for a millisecond. Sean was still consciously defending, moving side to side, wide awake, aware, etc. Extremely early stoppage. Not even 5 unanswered strikes were landed.
@@LateNightChessIt wasn’t a late stoppage. Sean literally couldn’t stand and took two massive elbows which clearly rocked him. It’s a loss, but definitely a fluke.
@@jorgeelchef1173 you can deny the truth all you want. It wont change the fact that from the multiple strikes chito threw only landed ona elbow flush that pushed omalleys head back for a millisecond, then after a few more failed strikes chito landed a nother elbow that was much weaker than the first one. Sean was still consciously defending and moving and chito didnt even landed 5 unanswered strikes. Omalley did took 2 elbows that werent even consecutive.
Yep! He relaxed all defenses in the makeup of the mid leg at the perfect time for that nerve to be susceptible. You can watch the slow replay going from tense to relaxed.
The thing with the “fluke” leg kick is how would that be much different from getting knocked out. One random punch just shuts the switch off kinda like one random kick shutting of the nerve
Pretty obvious. The difference is the size of the target (head and peronial nerve) and the probability of hitting that target with the intended outcome.
@@aienjell yes the size of the target is different but why is getting hit by a shot that unexpectedly puts you out so crazy. He’s kicking that area of the leg over and over and boom One puts it out same with punching someone over and over and boom one gets them

After Sugas performance tonight, I think we can give him the benefit of the doubt that it was just straight bad luck the first fight.
@ Never thought chito was better. There’s been tons of times worst guys have beat better people that’s what the first fight was. This second one was a joke. The bantam weight division just stayed the same. We found out guy non of us thought deserved it not deserve it. Imagine that was a merab or sandhagen fight even a aljo rematch makes more sense.
Fans are not interested in another champ vs champ when both guys havnt defended there belt, if they both ran through all their respective opponents first, sure.
Vera is a slow starter, and overall uninteresting, I like to act like this is a close fight, but I honestly see Vera having problems closing distance without getting popped. Sean should focus on hands. Sean often slips and falls when he spins, that's where Vera could take advantage

Excellent take good sir. What a performance by Suga.
lol I love Cheeto. I respect every fighter in the UFC ( except Conor the casuals made me hate him) and I would never talk down about any of them but for those of you who think he’s going to beat Sean O’Malley can we please bet some money on this I love making easy money. Short of Sean hurting himself again it’s not gonna happen
Sean’s clearly gonna be the longstanding 135 champ he’s so much bigger than the other bantams. He’s a 155er down at 35 so it’s gonna be an uphill battle for anybody who’s in there at 135.
@@JoshuaSmith-no9mn even more weight than that is being cut but you have the right idea. Just know the weight cut is the fight for so many guys. So certain fighters careers feel more significant. Daniel Cormier always stands out for me. Very undersized 2 weight Champion in the modern era. That’s almost impossible.
Hm, didn't seem in the fight like Chito was ready to die in there.. he was behind for most of the fight and still didn't go all out. I know that's alot to ask tho, haha
"Accuracy, pin point precision" things we did not see in any fight on this card. And we absolutely should have. Sugar sean, mvp, chito, song and more that i can't remember. All fought like shit. Worst card in practice after being best on paper.
Dude I am sickened that the host asked about going up. That shit is ruining the sport. This isn’t even a real title defense, definitely doesn’t deserve that opportunity for champ champ yet.
sandhagen destroyed vera have people forgotten that, sandhagen doesn't have the speed or precision o' malley have, this fight will not get passed the third round book it.
look, your ankle was fucked- very true but that doesn't mean you didn't lose. if that played out on the streets the same way no one is going to stop and say oh your ankle bro let's stop lol.
I dont get how its ok for sean claim he didnt lose. So if aoneone gets knocked out, they say oh i moved my head into the path of your hand , it wasnt your skill it was just a fluke....
I feel like chito is stronger and more well rounded than sean. Sean could get a good shot on chitos chin and sleep him but that's really the only path to victory for him.
Exactly the opposite tbh. Suga is clearly the more well rounded fighter and Chito only has a punchers chance against him. Sean will melt him and Chito’s only path to victory will be landing one big shot.
@@JoshuaSmith-no9mn That's a strong possibility but thats the worst case situation for chito that hes probably thought about. Most folk would go out on their shield in chitos position before another sandhagen type loss.
@@jimmypickle896his only losses in 2020s is Jose Aldo and Cory sandhagen. He had a good fight with them. Hes kod dom Cruz. Hes not the most deserving of the title shot but sugar Sean fans are just chito haters and will downplay his skill. Chito lives rent free in Sean’s head don’t be surprised when chito wins.
Tell us your a casual without actually saying it 🤷🤦 i mean If your a str8 up casual you might not of known who he was but I knew of him way before he started calling Omalley out
