I can attest to that. I always felt like I got more out of going slightly less hard without headgear than I did full contact with headgear. I remember getting slammed with head kicks way more often when I was wearing headgear. Haven't heard too many people talk about this.

You might want to do a little more research. Strickland was at Orlando’s gym, and Orlando’s next match was before Strickland’s. He’s a selfish training partner, standard issue, 1 each.
