I was in Bergen, Norway, at the Sandviken seaplane base, getting a briefing before my first PIC flight in a new-to-me seaplane, a Cessna 180 Skywagon on straight PK3500 floats.
This was a refresher briefing for me as I hadn’t flown floats for two years. Everyone does it differently, this is just one (very experienced) pilot’s personal method.
We cover pre-departure checklist, approach configurations and glassy water landing approach configuration for this plane, among other things.
Only intended for interest and entertainment, if it's useful, great, but it's not definitive!
