Just a reminder, check on your family members and friends that are struggling. Ask the tough questions. It may not solve it but at least they will know that someone cares. Feeling like no one cares is very isolating.

Absolutely & I know exactly what that isolation is like, I’ve been there a long time at least 10 years now. Only thing that keeps me Grounded is my personal friends. And my best friends which are ME, MYSELF & I . A person has to Learn to love themself and I’ve done that over the years. They say you can’t really truly love others until you’ve first learned to love yourself. Well I’ve totally mastered that If Not I’d have kicked (Myself )And ( I ) outta the house years ago 😂🤣. Oh you also gotta learn to laugh at yourself also. I’ve figured that one out also & when you learn these things you become really comfortable with who you are and comfortable in your own skin. But there’s not a better friend that anyone can have than Jesus Christ. He will never leave ya nor forsake ya even when you yourself sometimes feel like you’re forsaking yourself. Like the poem footprints in the sand.... that last set of footprints he was carrying us when we couldn’t even carry ourselves. Peace ✌🏼

The work put into these cases by Doug Bishop and others like him is priceless. It’s a field others need to learn for sure. Seeing Dave and Doug together is the best of both worlds. My prayers are with all of you and also with this man’s family . I don’t think there would be anything harder than not knowing what happened to a family member because the unknown will slowly consume you 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

I went to the Flaming Gorge when I was a kid. My dad worked for Chevron and was working in Rock Springs at their Fertilizer Plant at the time. We went whitewater rafting down the Green River. From the Dam into Wyoming. Beautiful but cold, even in July. Me my mom, dad and brother. My brother is no longer with us and this reminded me of that trip. I need to get up there again soon. Thanks for the memories.

@@quackhead7492 Oh. I thought it did. I just remember being in Wyoming, went to Utah to go rafting and back to Wyoming. Then we went to Yellowstone. It was a fun two week trip. Started on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and drove all the way up there. Then a few years later we did it again. Lot of riding in the car, that’s for sure. It was a 1983 Olds Cutlass Supreme Coupe.

Oh Axel. There are so many that connect so strongly with you when it comes to regrets. Regrets are debilitating. Regrets can be slowly fatal over time. I pray you are managing yours. Please don't beat yourself up too badly over simply "being 15". We do a lot of things in those years when the hormones are surging, that are NOT true reflections of the man we later choose to be. I vehemently pray you are not tearing yourself up with guilt. Healing, Joy and Peace to to you. This is NOT . . . your fault. You were a 15 y.o. boy at the time it happened. Whatever did happen, there is no indication your presence there would have prevented it. Indeed, they could have ended up looking for 2 missing persons. I pray you go on to celebrate that you are still here to bring honor to his name.

Its beyond awesome to see some of my favorite people work together to help a family. I can feel his son Axles pain. He was a young dumb 15 year old (like i was) who jever thought it be the last time seeing his dad. I fully understand the not knowing... It haunts and destroys us. As hard as that water flows through there during high rain events that truck could be a mile down the river. If he did go in the water. People don't realize that current going through those canyons how strong it is. It rolls boulders the size of a house. A little steel truck it could be 10 mi down the river at this point. Think about how many rain events in 20 years that could carry that truck down the river.

I have lived with moderate to sevier depression all my life. It's complicated with PTSD and other issues that keep me in a battle to just get out of bed. Fate is a damned strange thing. I have been involved with 14 suicides that ended successfully, with out a suicide.
