@@ErikKSwanson Yeah I’m just tired of the documentaries that are just people talking on camera sitting in a chair somewhere. Getting out in the woods being skeptical about what you find that’s research
@@slimpickens7822 I hear you. Some of those videos have interesting stories tucked away in them, but they could be a little more cinematic in their presentation. They feel more like a deposition than a documentary
My sister saw one about 10 years ago in the North Ga mountains. She is a no-nonsense type of person, and it shook her. She called 911 and described it as about 7’ tall, black hair everywhere, and it creeped out the edge of the woods on Warwoman Rd as she rounded the curve in the road around dusk. I believe her.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. I have another feature length doc on Bigfoot in the works, and will be sharing some short videos from my interviews soon
Im in ne Florida am cracker my kin have been here since late 1700s i had experience in 63 on east side of lake George when at uncle Ralph's house i was 6 they are real
it is there, i lived in naples fl. for 11 years , and i had the most chilling thing in my life happen there, its a wild story, and it was there. it is real.
This was very interesting & in my opinion very well put together & presented, it was refreshing to watch a presentation without all the normal hype, bullshit & where everything is bigfoot. Please keep making more of this sort of documentary, it is interesting & keeps you thinking about what may or may not be living out there, well done all round. 10/10
@@morakanemorakane9830 I think it's because Bigfoot is a North American creature. It/they followed the survivors from the Caucus mountains before the continents split. They were a higher form of intelligence, but not as intelligent as humans, so they live in the shadows as to stay alive. We have guns, but they only have 💪guns. Bullets are faster, so they're scared of homo sapiens. I would do the same in their bigfeet 😂
When the guy with the Go Pro helmet was showing which plants fooled him, he essentially disappeared. That is an excellent example of why it would be so easy for sasquatch to avoid being seen.
Very well made and underrated documentary 😃! I love how the guys don't immediately attribute every weirder thing to bigfoot but rather try to find a rational explanation for it.
First rule is to rule out anything that isn't proof, otherwise you end up chasing ghosts, broken twigs and trying to connect those with Bigfoot activity, instead of ruling them out and looking for any other reason you may find broken twigs or branches
I absolutely love documentaries like this.....nobody trying to bullshit you , just straight up experiences! Then it's up to you to digest what's put in front of you and let you decide....great documentary guys I REALLY appreciate and enjoyed it!
Thanks Peter. Much appreciated. It's a little difficult having a channel where we are straight up showing what it's like in the field and you have the keyboard warriors saying, "Where is the Bigfoot?" or "You did a whole video and have nothing?" .... we'll that is reality. We don't make stuff up and we try to explain what we did see and hear. So, thank you for watching us going out and NOT finding Bigfoot on this particular day. But we are in a fantastic area! Great Documentary. What stood out to me as a production, was the narration. The narrator processed the vocabulary, enunciation, articulation, proper pronunciation, and just that right voice that creates world class narration. This is just about as good as it gets and rivals a multimillion dollar production hiring the finest and most prominent of narrators to keep the production interesting while maintaining continuity throughout the lengthily documentary. It was a absolute pleasure experiencing this documentary. All the members of the team were excellent and performed as well as paid actors.. Well done... With great respect... Joe
i think the biggest problem with bigfoot hunters especialy in TV show´s is that many of them are way to loud while they are searching thats why most sightings come from hikers and hunters that are very quiet ...
Hi.thats why when I'm hiking I have special 🥾 s that r soon quiet.could hear a pin drop.ive hiked alover the world including Utah Alaska the jungles.over 400 forests.i hear things .have encountered bears and wild animals.but not one bf.i don't go looking fr them at all. So my point is.u never know what's out there👋👍😀🙈🙉🐵

Late 87, DeLand Florida, while bass fishing, 8am. Had one scream at me, twice. Lung power, decimal level incredible. 80 yards away. Just out of sight. Felt it in your chest. No smell. St. John's river. It was on an island inside the river
I'm in Citrus, I had a experience like his. I like to do nite walks by myself, I carry a 9 mil and 2 mags, But pretty much, the same thing happened to me. I've seen panthers, and bears, Hogs, possums, and bunnies, and jackrabbits, that can jump fences your dog can't, a bobcat, and this thing.!!!! Oh and orbs of light, near the caves......
I'm in Citrus Springs and I have a bent tree in my backyard just like the one in the video. I'm also interested in Dogman because they run with coyotes, and we have many of those.

Don't you all hate it when an American or Canadian, or Russian tell the eyewitnesses (American or Canadian, Russian) "maybe it was a bear standing on two legs!!.. as if Americans and Canadians and Russians who lives in bear countries can't tell the difference between a bear and something else standing on two legs.. especially the Russians who literally have bears as pets riding them while finishing an entire vodka bottle like we finish our coffee ☕ in the morning sitting cozy on a chair 🤣🤣
The native americans ( i am Haida myself ) neve ever referred to sasquatch as an ape he has always been known as a tribesman who protected our mountains during storytime he is always more man than beast and anyone who thinks sasquatch is an unidentified primate is barking up the wrong tree, loved tne video
I'm from Canada and the Native Americans didn't tell it like that, their stories are when they arrived here there were already these very skiddish giants already living here and they killed them all off. Would have been nice if they held them in higher regards to not want to destroy them though.... Lol

Incredible work! I left the community for awhile because i began to feel like the goal was to keep people in the cycle of the search, not the find - very purposely keeping us chasing our tails. While I know there's much more than a hairy man roaming around in Florida, I do appreciate Matt's logical and methodical approach. I really wanted to hear more of Brian's experience, did he continue on behind the bigfoot, did he backtrack & get the heck outta dodge? No matter, an exceptional documentary!
I live close to the Florida line. I have seen a couple. My wife was with me during those. With that said she saw 3 more within a few miles apart. We both have seen a strange dog looking thing as well. I believe they have moved on because we have not seen any in about 4 years. The Deer population is back up.

I’m a retired FF and just north of Tampa. I’d love to have an opportunity to join in and explore the woods with ya. Have heard of an interesting situation during the fire storms of the late 90s where one fire crew struck a skunk ape with a brush truck on a back road. The gov stepped in and investigated and informed them they had killed a bear. I’ve never seen anything to support a big foot in Florida and spent lots of time in the woods during brush fires so probably not the best time to be big foot hunting. Would love confirmation that they are out there. ❤️🐒👍🏼

Near as I can tell, this is a migrating animal, and endangered, As I go a couple, to 3 times a week, and never seen it again. Don't believe in tree breaks, just what I saw, and I'm not sure, but it was near 8 ft. tall. I'm 6'2", and it was wide as heck Brown, to black as I only had a head lamp, but a pretty strong one LED.
Nice video. I know they are here in Florida because I live in Hudson and they're here as well....Arches are height indicators. X's mean they are there.
I love this subject and all it entails, the woods at night, in bear territory and the solitary searching miles from anywhere. I tip my hat to the brave intrepid people that go out there in the flesh, where most of us would say a quick no thank you. They are special and must be appreciated. Well done you guys.
In 2007 I saw a green orb come down from the sky and enter the tree line. That I saw and I dont care who believes or doesn't believe. I know what I saw was 100% real
I saw an orb while night-hunting hogs on my land in North Florida. Went from the top of the trees to the forest floor and then back up. Size of a volleyball.

What an excellent documentary! Very professionally and objectively produced. I really appreciate documentaries of this caliber. Thank you so much for this amazing work you have produced! 👍
This was an exceptionally well-done program, logical, measured and open-minded. I like some of the others, but they are more entertainment programs, where this was a discussion.
Please keep these coming! Your productions are incredibly well produced and entertaining. You’re my new favorite channel; reminds of history channel in the good ole days!
I witnessed something in the early 80s. We lived on one of Florida's multiple canals. Across the canal was a wildlife area. I thought it was a homeless person. As I got closer, what I thought was pants was hair, different length. Between 5 and 6 feet tall. Not muscular, slim and was eating what I assume to be ants that live in these trees that have bark like paper. Not sure what they're called. It just kept looking around, would pause, picked ants (I assumed) and ate. Occassionally, it would crouch down unnaturally for a human. It was not human. It was not an ape that I could identify.
Hi there, been involved with this subject for a long time and spent a number of years doing my own investigations in the north GA mountains. Along the way I've seen many Sasquatch documentaries, and I must say this one was really good. Great narration & story line. Put together great. Nice job!
Excellent! Let me know when you're here. There's plenty to research in upstate NY in terms of "Sasquatch areas" to explore, especially White Hall, NY. Excellent documentary about what happened there in the 70's, and they have a festival every year celebrating those events. There's also a missing 411 case in this area that I also looked into.
to me the Patterson footage is definitive proof that it exists. If you really study that film (the most recent enhance version) and associated footprint casts that were collected at the scene and then all the other evidence from Native stories, historical accounts going back to Danial Boone, and modern sightings there is no other conclusion, it exists.
@@charleygnarly1182 Just by the video itself. Hollywood experts of that time had studied the film and current day experts have and their opinions are that it's no way a guy in a suit. You can see muscles flexing as it walks. Why a guy would want to claim he was in the suit, well why does anyone make false claims? Publicity?
I’ll have something to say too on the PG footage - I have some issues with it from a film makers perspective that may just turn some heads and create more doubt. I know it will.
@@anyonecanseethis5787 Already shot a 16mm roll and figured it out what was bothering me about the film - I’ll tell soon enough. Just needed a film guy to see it. 😉
I was born and raised in Florida, all around the Tampa Bay areas. And to this day I have only personally seen two bears. While fishing and hunting in the Mulberry area phosphate pits I came across really big tracks leaving a small pond on the side of a road there were no tracks entering the pond only leaving the pond. I am 6 foot tall and I could only reach from one print to the next by stretching as far as could, but could not repeat the next step without falling down. The size of the tracks were almost twice the size of my foot and three times the depth of my tracks. They went in a straight line for almost 3/4 of a mile and into thick palmetto bushes and large pine trees walking in with my 22 rifle I could not see very far. I began to feel like I was being watched, and I felt helpless, realizing that my 22 rifle would only piss this thing off ,I lowered my rifle. I was about to walk out backwards, when I saw it's eyes behind some palmetto leaves. They were about 8 or 9 inches apart and made direct contact with me. I was frozen in place, and had no idea how long. Finally it was gone and I ran out of there as fast as I could. Something changed in me that day,but I can tell you it was not a bear.
Why are these folks so desperate to be in the woods or swamps, each and every day n night to see and film the Skunk Ape..? Had my own daytime sighting of the Skunk Ape in Florida 1988
Broken branches could also be arranged to point a direction... like "get out" or "dad I went that way". Typically they are snapped but not ripped off Ina certain direction.
Erik - great job on the documentary. You have a great voice for the narration and good realistic content without the hype that many try to sell to the public! I retired to Florida a few years ago and I attended the Florida Bigfoot Conference in Ocala, an hour west of me, a few months ago. There were thousands of enthusiasts and researchers there. Lots and lots of sightings and experiences here in Florida. Who knows?! Maybe I will see a 'squatch one day soon!! Keep up the good work....very good work!!!
Hey I live in Jacksonville,Florida. When I lived in Sarasota Florida,a State Park in Myaka ,had sightings.Bfr was notified,Stacey Brown,Tim Fisano, and others went out there, saw Tree structures,Prints ect.Even Sarasota. Sheriffs went out there.
Such an incredible production, I am really, really, really impressed with the content of this video. I would have thought it was made by a big name (i.e., Discovery Channel or something). Thank you for sharing this with us. I sure would have paid to rent this. I am subbing and hoping that you continue to make content like this, because I'm a person that's very curious about Bigfoot. I want to believe, and I think that there is the possibility of an undiscovered creature. But, multiple things make me have some doubts: 1) too many trail cams don't catch it, 2) lot of people looking and not any good evidence found, 3) has to be more than one (i.e., breedable population), so there needs to be X number to keep the population up; so, we should see some: Momma's, Pappa's, babies, and little Tykes ... why don't we?; etc. Those are things that bother me about their existence, because I want to be a believer. But, I'm also always skeptical of claims without evidence.
I make this comment all the time. I once watched a Bald Eagle slam into a hawk in my backyard. So that it could steal the squirrel the hawk had caught. I was literally taking pictures of the pond I had just finished. Phone was in my hand, the camera app opened and I didn't take one picture. Why? Because it was too shocking and cool to anything but observe it. A bigfoot sighting of imagine is 1000X more shocking.
Hello, my name is Steve Adams, and I currently live in Melbourne FL, but am originally from GA. I had an encounter with Sasquatch in GA while hunting in the Cohutta WMA back in 1995, and remember it like it was yesterday. For a long time I wouldn’t talk about it for fear of being called crazy, but as more people have came forward, I felt it was ok. I’ve been researching these creatures ever since, and am interested in making a trip to Ocala national forest, to possibly do some research as well. Trying to find like minded people who might be interested in going. Would love to talk to you about my encounter, and hope to hear back from you in response to this comment. Thanks!
@@ErikKSwanson Yeah, you sound like the guy who did investigative reports, Bill Curtis? that crime show back in the day.. You sound like you narrate serious nature docs or whatnot..
Though I remain skeptical mostly due to a lack of experiencing anything first hand despite living in the forest in different places at various times in my life. But since I live near the hot spots of Ohio, believe in having an open mind, and am a musician, I have developed the following protocol: - Arrive at a state park like Salt Fork state park and either set up camp or find a spot, especially in the woods above the lake to hunker down for awhile. About an hour before sunset take out my trumpet and begin to play some nice music. Songs like 'Annie's Song' from John Denver or 'You Gotta Friend' from Carol King. If there are any BF's in the area, they are nearly guaranteed to hear you and you won't sound like a silly human trying to imitate their calls but something they may find interesting or even entertaining and may want to check out. For closer contact, say for a wood knock or the sound of brush moving, I have a recorder flute and will play it in a mellow style. Then for very up close encounters like right outside your tent close, I have two songs that I train myself to sing even if scared - 'How Great Thou Art' and 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot' Calm, respectful and with a descending tone, they might just let you see them if you make music..
I've lived in Florida most of my life, I've never seen one. However, my mom saw the sunk ape. Now, in January 2023, with my family in Gilchrist County, just east of bell FL. We saw a werewolve cross the paved rd in front of our car. I've also seen UFO in North Florida.
Thanks for such a reasoned, sober, and fascinating look into the possibility of an unknown hominid living in the wilds of Florida. I used to live on the edge of the Everglades and spent quite a bit of time driving the backroads quite near to the areas that you discussed in this video (where the bus load of tourists saw an alleged skunk ape, and two later sightings were reported in the same area, one by a forest ranger). There is some wild, wild country there and it is not at all hard to imagine that something like a swamp ape could be living there. Nice work.
Reasoned and sober look into Bigfoot?? Ok let’s look at the verifiable evidence available, oh yeah there is NONE! Lol Let’s talk about melba Ketchum and why she is a known fraud, let’s start there
Great episode Erik. I really enjoy seeing and hearing from Matt Larson and Max Powers particularly. These guys do not make unsubstantiated claims, they do not exaggerate their knowledge nor their experiences and they do not state their individual hypothsese as facts. Those things are so very refreshing to see and hear. Good job Sir!
WOW, GREAT film, I was very happy to see this wasn't a Monster Quest re-load from the late 90's!! I am beyond a believer, who has watched shows on this subject for many decades, to the fact that I make Bigfoot lawn art. Anyway, as far as their 'elusiveness' my intuition tells me that they are not alien or supernatural, just very good, masters if you will, of their own environment, also being big and strong allows them to move about quite quickly and easily. There are just way too many documented experiences to think something like a unknown primate doesn't exist. Btw, imo, to even infer what an experienced hunter, one who hunted for decades in the same area, whose family had been hunting the same spot for generations, to tell him that what he saw as a bear is insulting to say the least.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. And thanks for sharing your perspective… you’re totally right about the “it must have been a bear thing” most hunters have learned to assume every noise or movement is a squirrel or something else ordinary until you get a good look at the animal
I'd love to have a Bigfoot deco in my yard!! I've seen 1 in my hometown and 1 in Goodlettsville, Tenn. I'm like There's Bigfoot!!! Tickles me to no end!!!
A bit off the Bigfoot topic, but I live about 3 blocks from the Hudson River. I’m elated to have him mention Keepsie! I’ve never seen it, but have talked to people who have. Most popular mundane explanation is that it’s a larger than average Sturgeon, but those who’ve seen it basically say not a chance.
"Beasts of the field" So like livestock and whatnot? Yeah I'm not too worried about cattle and sheep and the like. As for most large predators, there's not enough of most of them left to pose a real threat to humans as a whole so we'll be fine.
It is real. Here in Australia I’ve seen the yowie aka big foot , and know where they dwell.🤫one tip walk with a dog and try to empty your mind and relax walk around like you lost , by yourself.
