Searching for shells on the beach at low tide on an island is pretty much ideal conditions to find beach treasures. Luckily the shells cooperated and I had a great time searching Dickman's Island for beachy goodness.

I so loving walking the beach with you and learning about shells. It’s the reposition is how I learn. There are so many shells and all so beautiful whole and even broken. I especially like when you share “beach time “after looking down for awhile. I can’t wait to come to FL, just to walk the beaches and she’ll search. Thank you foe your time.

Some beautiful shells... love those pretty augers and the lace murexes. Those nutmegs were really big - what a great find! Angel wings are so delicate, I think you have to take what you can get a lot of the time. These two are very nice, even with a little broken piece, still a great find. Love the alphabet cone and gaudy - beautifully colored. And the milk conch - so pretty. I'll have to look that one up to learn more about it.

I love the hinged Ponderous Arc, it’s so beautiful when you consider how often we see it as a washed out white shell. Loved shells all my life (65+) Lived in CA for 9 years. Sanibel has been my dream. Last year I was planning a trip. My son died and Ian hit. But, in 3 weeks I'M GOING! Going on a private tour on what would be my son's 53rd birthday. God Bless!

What a great time!! There was a lot of shells to chose from. When I saw you pickup the Lightning Welk and saw the size, I felt as excited as you!!😂 I don’t know if anyone else sees this or maybe I’m the only one, but when you pickup a scallop shell, I see the alien from ID4. Oh wow!!! What a fantastic shell haul!! Especially loving the big, fat Olives and those big Sand Dollars!! Makes me want to go back to Marco Island (we stayed at the Apollo condos on South Beach!) and find more gorgeous SWFL shells!
