At 11:06 what you thought was quartz is actually a piece of petrified wood. The wood in those holes look like they were sucked in there during high water. You need to bring a large amount of water and pour it into the holes and see if it disappears quickly. That will tell you that there is an opening underground. I hope you go back and try what is have suggested with the water. Blessings and keep safe. I am glad I found your channel.
Looks like a pegmatite rather than a lava tube. A pegmatite is basically mineral rich hydrothermal fluid that comes from deep below the earths surface through fractured rock where it cools and solidifies as it reaches the surface. If the minerals were mined then its possible tunnels were made to follow the pegmatite.
That looks like pumas produced from spring water's hard water deposits collecting the surrounding earth into the quartz as it is dehydrated into solid rock. Uranium is concentrated in this type of reconstituted strata. The Federal Government started the uranium rush back in the 1940's & 1950's by bulldozing thousands of miles of jeep trail roads for getting the general public into geological areas that have the potential of containing uranium deposits, which was about half of Utah. Hope this helps.
If that was a piece of the cat it really looks like it was just made out of concrete, and you would dig right where the runoff ends just before the dam because that's where any gold or silver would accumulate if it was washed out of the hill
I imagined the cat being an artificial statue, not natural deposit either, it looked like a bunch of broken up foundation in beginning wheel they first walked up that hill, some kind of masonry/concrete. I wonder if the that was some artificial geopolymer in the cool crystal veined specimens at the end, this made me want to go exploring and rock hunting so bad
The hole grand canione is a old lava tube rivver goon thrue the wather in the old dsys. Btw, what happend to the vifio clipp of the big cave entress from last "next time"?🤔
I would crush that ore to a 40bgrit and pan it down. I promise you there's gold in that. It's highly mineralized andnyould never see me pass that up. Good luck
you need to take a gas meter there with you. I would bet a fair chunk of change that there are gasses causing hallucinations eminatingnfrom around there.
Being a rock hound this is a great site to check out I would have to research the geological history and see what you guys have around . That quartz in the rock in gold bearing it’s even oxidized
Read the book The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition for learning how to build the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod. Learn how to dowse underground tunnels or voids or any sought element by reading and understanding the explained physics and dowsing lessons taught. Thank you for reading this post and have a safe, healthy good day.
Carl., Listen to the miners, this is the remains of a hot spring bringing minerals to the surface in hot water as it cooled and the pressure dropped the minerals solidified and deposited. iron, calcite , quartz, copper, zinc, whatever and that's why you find Hot rocks with a detector around there. Prospectors would always dig a test hole and pan for a trace of colors. that's not a mine entrance, there's no dump. The old timers called it "red cap" or "red hat"
They also called it " iron cap" or " iron hat " Common term is Gossan. It is the top zone of mineralization where the iron has oxidized and freed the gold . the springs that done this are gone by many years. If you where to dig down around the Gossan for probly quite a ways you would hit the second zone and the iron would be in pyrite or arsenopyrite and the gold would be locked up in it
