I've driven through Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel a few times and have always been amazed by what an astonishing engineering feat it is. Crazy that it was built 60 years ago. The trip to Assateaque Island looked really interesting. The wild ponies are amazing! It must have been fascinating to see them up close, in the wild, and paying little to no mind to the cars and people around them. I also really liked how they have so many trails so you can walk along and hopefully get a better glimpse of the island's wildlife. This is such a cool place! Awesome video!!
My father-in-law helped build that Chesapeake Bay-Bridge-Tunnel as he provided construction equipment for the project. Once again, great video and tour. I look forward to visiting soon. Thank you.
This island looks amazing... I would absolutely love to see a colony of wild ponies! Wow! And look at the beautiful landscape, herons (I think), etc... oh, I wouldn't want to see any snakes though... ha ha... a pony swim? Wow... I hope it truly is about keeping a safe population... sounds like a remarkable event none-the-less... thanks Alice and Jack!

Ahhhhhh, what a wonderful experience! We saw wild horses when we stayed a couple of nights in Cumberland Island! I'll never forget waking up and seeing wild horses run across the backyard of the house! We stayed in a house owned by one of my dad's friends. What a memorable trip❤. Love the views from the observation point, just beautiful ❤.

How cute are they?!?! I saw something recently about Assateague and thought you mentioned it in your last video. I'm so glad you went back to the island...the ponies are worth it! The bridge tunnels are cool....but were they wet? Is that a worry?? (kidding). Beautiful beaches and marshlands with gorgeous horses. Great day!
This is so weird… I was just talking about this place with someone at work in the last week. I’ve always thought the bridge and tunnel were very cool. I just need to get to Assateague now. Good job avoiding the horse “evidence” on the trail😂
