$100 DOLLAR BILL HUNTING - Searching over six thousand dollars for old rare US CURRENCY including STAR NOTES
Had a great time searching through these $100 bills. Sadly though the finds were not what I expected. Looks like I'll be turning these in for $1's soon :)

Anthony Arashnia man that's a nice serial number and a lot of people like the doubles like that...check ebay for going rates but, I'd say you should be able to get around $15-20 easy or more depending on condition.

I never thought about serial #'s before. That was actually kind of fun watching you go through those. I wish I had seen this video a few months ago. I had 50K in 100's, but I invested it so the notes are gone now. I probably had some cool stuff in there and didn't even know it. I still have a lot of 20's and smaller bills, though. They will soon be spent, but I will check them and see what I can find. Good video!

When they first started redesigning the bills about 10 years ago, I started setting aside the older design bills as I came acorss them. Not all of them - a 5 here, a 10 there, a 20, and so on. Now I have well over 100 of the old 5's and dozens of the others. Haven't seen one of those older ones in years.

i like the 2006A series just because they were only made to replace the new $100 bills when they couldn't put them into circulation. I just got a 1928 $100 gold certificate that I got a hell of a deal on. I only paid $700 for it, and it's easily a $1300+ bill.

You can tell that a note is older when it says what mint it came from.All the bills used to have that.Now only $1 bills have it.

Since you like to look at $100 dollar bills, have you ever looked at the reverse side for chop marks? These are markings stamped on the bill by Asians usually. Since so many $100 bills are counterfeited people over there that are experienced with our money will stamp something like a letter, number or an oriental character in some sort of geometric frame. Sort of like authentication marks for the inexperienced. They almost always show up on $100 dollar bills, although I've seen a few on $50 dollar notes.

on the KK 00450077 A, the FRI K11 is meaningful as well being that K is the 11th letter in the alphabet.

are uncirculated, consecutive bills worth a lot? I work at a bank and we just got some full straps of 50d from the Fed that match and are practically uncirculated

no not really unless the serial number could be considered fancy. Some people do like to collect consecutive notes, but they are not really worth more than face just because they are consecutive. Thanks for the question, hope it helps!

You've got me hooked on serial number hunting ......... I can't keep hundred dollars bills......I'll have to stick with keeping one dollar bills......It's fun to treasure hunt this way ........at least if you don't find anything, you haven't lost anything.........I've never got drunk or taken drugs and at my age I don't have any desire to go down a roller coaster .........but it does give me a thrill to see what I might find in a pile of dirty, filthy money.......fun is just a pile of money away ............grab a stack of money, some oreo cookies and milk , put on the Beach Boys on the old turn table and I'm in Heaven !!!!!!

hey thanks for watching :) yeah I know what you mean, when I say keeper I mean that I will pull it out of circulation and try and sell it for a certain amount over face value for no more than 2 weeks. This allows me a little time to try and get a little more for those special notes, but at the same time still pay the bills :)...hopefully lol

Star notes are worthless unless very old. Trust me I've had hundreds of different star notes and dealers wont give you anything for them.

Does anybody know if this bill would be worth selling? 2013 fifty dollar bill in a circulated but not too bad condition with the serial ME 00090585*? From a print run of 3.2m but lower serial+ star? I bought it out my drawer in case it is worth anything, if not I lost zero dollars.
