First of all he should be asking permission to search, then ask the person if there are any sharp objects etc and if so, to remove. Then... from top to bottom body search. Never go behind a person as this feels intimidating. Alot of errors here.
What are you talking about? The first thing he did was ask him for permission. The second thing he did was ask if he had anything on him that could cause harm. Then he did a top to bottom search. Also, you should always do searches from behind. Doing it from the front puts you in a seriously vulnerable position. You’re the one making the errors, not this guy.
This is so stupidly methodical. You're doing this as a random search at 12:30am in a queue outside a venue in the rain. 7 minutes! The BTec Level 2 Skills in Security Course Book says differently. I know. I wrote it. One of the 3 authors, Alannah Burke, was ill so I wrote most of the manual. The very same manual you use to get students through the SIA exam to practice as Door Supervisors. This is dreadful training.
