I loved how he looked in Denise’s mirror to make sure his own mirror wasn’t deceiving him. He opened the closet door and lost it! Lol

Denise's defensive posture was brilliant and hilarious. This episode had me in stitches. Vanessa's "It's better than I can do" was adorable.

Gordan Gartrelle was a staff member of the show, who later became a writer/producer for final two seasons of the series.

This whole episode cracks me up. At the beginning when Claire and Their come home with the expensive shirt and Cliff wants to know how much it cost. He sees the tageand looks at Theo and says " No 14 year old boy needs an 85.00 shirt, unless he's onstage with his 4 older brothers"!!!! That line is so funny and then Clair says " well there must be a pair of pants in there too!"😂

I love how from the moment Theo walked in with that shirt, Bill was trying, and failing, not to laugh

Theo was a terrific actor - even at this age.

THIS episode RIGHTCHERE...Maaaaan, I'm 47 and we STILL fall clean OUT when we see THAT HOT MESS SHE MADE FOR THEO CALLED "A SHIRT"! His darn THUMB poking out of his CUFF sent me to THE FLOOR honey, okayyyyyy🙌🏾😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

I still, to this day, don’t know how on earth Malcom Jamal Warner and Lisa Bonet were able to keep a straight face during these scenes. Even Bill Cosby had to write his own laughter in the script. It just showed how amazing they were as actors.

Cliff: "OK, well, I think you've learned your lesson." Theo: "Ohhhhhh! Dad, I've learned it, I've learned it, whatever it is!"

despite everything going on with bill cosby he is still one of the best tv dads

I don't know how many times I've seen this episode, but the sight of Theo in that crazy shirt still makes me laugh!

This was a classic episode...the best part: when Theo walks into the living room with the new shirt..........where Christine and friends are waiting. I crack up every time I remember him trying to "hide" his shirt!

The writing for this show is genius.

I paid a seamstress 200 dollars to make me a dress.I was SO excited when she called me to come try it on and I tried it on for the first time today and it looks like the dress version of theo's shirtl!!! I am sooooo devastated and will file to take her to small claims court for my money back but this video made me laugh soooo hard and I needed that! This goes out to all those who were wronged by seamstresses. So glad my sister and this video made me laugh after such a disappointing day.
