In this episode, we begin a four-part series on the identity of daughter. We speak about the building blocks of daughterhood: trusting the heart of God and receiving our identity from the Father. We discuss the foundational importance of believing we are beloved children even when there are parts of our humanity and frailty that we do not love. Thank you so much for this series! Would it be possible for there to be a complementary series for men? (Son, brother, father etc) perhaps with Jake Khym or other men? Or maybe Jake could do a podcast on this complementary series(brother, father, son) featuring other men? I really think this would be so healing and so necessary for our world today. We need to get rid of the old negative tapes that the enemy wants us to replay to discourage us and like Mary, ponder and treasure God's Word. Here are some declarations based on scripture I like to remember/ponder: "I am beloved daughter, chosen, called, wonderfully made, never forgotten, never alone, fully known, forgiven, a gift to the Lord, made on purpose for a purpose"; "Thank you Lord that You are working all things [in my life] together for good and Your glory!"; "I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loves me" does anyone else have any to share?

Well, I am laughing, when I first heard of Sister Miriam's height, she was 5'10", now I'm hearing she's 6'1"! What? what is in the drinking water down in Texas? Apparently, I was correct in saying, she's a tall drink of water! Good God Almighty! Right on Sister! I wish I was 6'1", I would have played better Basketball, or better, Swimmer! By the time I dove off the mount, Id be at the end before you know it!

I really enjoyed this episode. It is so true. We often live waiting for the other shoe to drop. Sometimes, we may be afraid to fail and sometimes we are afraid to succeed too. If these are going well, we worry that when we turn the corner, something bad might happen. It's true we sometimes live bracing for impact - fear of rejection, or fear of betrayal by friends or familiar y.

To have a sister, I cannot even imagine! I know women who have sisters, and I think how lucky they are, to have someone who loves you unconditionally, is your confidant, and know shes your friend and she wont reject you. Ladies, thank you so much for your respectful, raw, and honest responses. So much depth in all that you talked about and I truly appreciate it. Initially, I balked at the idea of identity as daughter and I wasn't sure why until Sister mentioned the part of pushing away someone's delight in us. That truly spoke to me and it allowed me to relax and really open up and listen to what all of you had to say. I even broke out a notebook to record keywords and thoughts so that I could go to Adoration and dig in. Thank you again!
