This Guide has been highly requested by all of you, and after a long stage of plannning and creating the all in one Pantheon guide, it is finally here. Hopefully we've covered everything you need to put you on your road to Mastering Pantheon. Comment below any other videos you would like to see! (Addressing the upcoming item changes: I have looked at the changes towards bruiser items and I am probably going to be building the same things anyway, so this guide will likely be up to date even with the upcoming changes. That being said, I will still playtest the new trinity force and play around with a few other builds/items to definitively see if other builds are more optimal after the changes. On the slim chance that I do find a better build, I will release a "Build Update" video.)
I still don't know why this guy still didn't pop off, he deserves to be more popular than half these wack streamers that get much more attention and views, keep it up chef, Salam from algeria
factss he deserves a lot more, but he is getting bigger, he averaged about 175 viewers a year ago and now hes usually close to 300 viewers sometimes average i believe, big ups to Issa
Most likely because Pantheon isn't entertaining champion to watch. No flashy plays, low outplay potential, straightforward gameplay. Compare it to champions like Riven or Yone
@@antares1407 really? i find it pretty satisfying to watch and there arent really many otp panth streamers out there so its fresh, i think there is just a lot of luck with getting big but eventually when u put in the work its possible
Man, life is so fucking unfair. This king has always had exciting gameplay, witty commentary, a god tier editor, amazing thumbnails and is so entertaining to watch... Yet he hasn't become huge yet. Why? I'll never get why some other streamers/youtubers are super popular while also being boring af. Legit they just upload clickbait full-ass gameplay that is as entertaining as watching paint dry. They barely talk, they have zero personality and jokes, yet they have a big audience. Why, just why.
Spear Shot's vids are pretty funny cuz they're curated, but I didn't really like watching him on stream since he tends to be a bit of a bad vibe when he's doing poorly or losing. Which is understandable and I don't fault him for it, but it's just not my cup of tea. Which is actually odd now that I think about it; average Twitch viewer ik tends to like "raging angry strimers" except Mr. SpShot has really good humor and personality on top of it. Doesn't make sense, I agree.
Another tip, when trying to run, you can use your e to block ignite damage as long as you point your e in the direction of the enemy who ignited. Imagine the block range as a global cone stemming from pantheon
Why the heck is he being so articulate?! I'm used to "I'm going to take ya legs, lemme give you a kiss" Spearshot, not Dr. Spear with the explanations.
I can't wait to use this panth guide to climb out of iron. i play of my compaq presario from russia and can only use the euw servers to find actual humans. i believe if i follow this guide my 400 ping wont hold me back.
not a panth main but watched the whole guide! This was so high quality and also had pointers for general top lane! You cannot always be an assasin, sometimes you have to just attack the enemy frontline with your team.
Fantastic guide! I think people are really into informative content which is why top 'one-tricks' like Petu are doing so well. Love the guide, thank you for making it for us
I have been absolutely smurfing with Pantheon in solo que. No one plays or bans him, his kit is just perfect for my duel heavy play style. Youmuu's Divine is so much fun, my Diamond friends looked at me weird when I said Divine, but it is soooo good. Honestly, favorite champ in the game.
Sadly the guide's popping right before Riot takes 100 HP out of every bruiser item, which may have an impact on Panth's itemisation. Maybe not tho, idk I'm unranked Edit : I missed the chance to say that I really liked the guide, awesome job, keep going I wish you only the best
I think the only item that might fall out is steraks, losing the healing. Everything else might be better for Panth with more damage. And fighters lose the health too, as they build similiar (Sett, Fiora, Riven, etc.).
It's actually mostly beneficial for Panth, he doesn't *need* the HP all that much, while basically all top laners lose between 100-200 HP for laning phase, allowing you to kill them better. Plus, the items also generally give more damage too, with many getting 5 to 10 extra AD
I mean every bruiser in the toplane is also less tanky as a result, so it's not terrible. Plus, pantheon scales really well with AD and all the items got an AD (and sometimes AH) buff. We'll see how it shakes out.
I randomly selected pantheon top lane with friends one day and every since that game has stuck with me because I did very well. Viewing this guide will definitely help for training purposes to continue to practice with different match ups. Appreciate the work on this!
Beautiful video, i casually opened it and it changed my ranked win rate. I'm a Shen main but with him i can't carry and i have to tryhard so much to win the lane. I tried using Sett but same thing i sometimes carry but it's hard to get kills once you dominate the lane they just stay far. With 3 days of Pantheon top (i played him a lot as a supp i have 200k maestry) i made 200 LP and have 65% win rate. It's easy to win the lane, he has mobility to help mid and bot and he has so much item choice i love him. Thank you for the guide
Runes+Items are slightly outdated though. He never runs corrupt pot anymore. Bork is a solid choice, even as first item sometimes. Some other mythics could be mentioned but ofc eclipse is still go-to.
My friend was really surprised when I showed him the match result where I got an MVP and lead my opponent by 7550 gold. He was like 'I cant play that champ like that how did u do it'. This guide really helped me understanding everything pantheon needs.
Sunderer has been my main goto item as jungle pantheon main and as a standalone item for support pantheon it gives the most for its value. It is also the best for trading with meta bruisers, thanks for bringing it out as it should. Good guide! Edit: One little thing you didn't cover maybe because you never do it is the maxing of w second instead of e. There are some matchups that you lose after 6 but if you are ahead and max w after q you get a second w faster during trades so you continue winning the trade. Although that's me from plat, it may be still unwinnable in diamond+ even with this strat. Edit2: Great take man, it's great seeing an intelligent take on top pantheon!!
not a top lanner (supp mostly) but like watching him and when running panth supp, pretty much just follow his guide. r good for roaming! ty for a good guide
Such a good guide! Learned so many things I didn't know about Pantheon. And this was the first video I watched from you. I also subscribed! Will watch you and learn more from you SpearShot.
My man! I have been in countless melee matchups where I was getting bullied and then bought BORK (first buy) and cut through them like butter catching them by suprise. An empowered W w/ PTA is beautiful w BORK
I build Pantheon completly different tbh. Not sure if its optimal but I go either Prowlers Claw or Eclipse for my mythic. Prowlers into heavy tanks to shred their hp when its off cool down and Eclipse when the shield is really necessary. At the end of the day my build is Prowlers/Eclipse, Blade of the Runed King, Essence Reaver, Manamune, and Black Cleaver/Seryldas Grudge. Let me know if I should chance anything in this build because lately its been working wonder aginast all enemies. Tanks get melted with BORK and Prowlers and squishes get deleted with BORK and Essence Reaver
As to why I dont build any defensive items such as armor or magic resist or steraks gage? I just feel as if I do enough damage to delete someone before they can do damage to me there's no need for defense. My e works perfectly fine for that.
finally, a pantheon challenger guide that says what i know about the character and gives me more detailed info. Bro i love this video hope you bring something about the unortodox ways of playing pantheon keep on whit pantheon, best wishes
Great video! I’m playing pantheon top a lot, but I use a different item build: blade of the ruined king into krakenslayer for a lot of damage with the empowered W… I’m gonna try your builds though
I've been rushing manamune and divine sunderer every game for scaling damage + empowered auto's between q tap and other abilites and taking phase rush so that I can out trade anyone with the standard empowered q combo, but this guide is the most optimal panth rune and build set. Pta for exposing enemies basically instantly or conqueror for instant ad stacks from empowered W. Black cleaver 2nd or third item vs tanks and opponents building armor. Ghost blade for disengage or catching the back line. Still, I have grown so comfortable with my style that I don't want to give it up. Rengar is right. Comfort breeds weakness
The guide is great for people who already play Pantheon, but I feel like someone who hasn't put in much time into League wont get any useful information from it. A proper ability rundown and incentives to put time and effort into Pantheon would have been really good for new players. Still I was able to learn something thanks to it, so cheers for that.
people who actually play pantheon know most of this so its actually really good into new players who can take 3 minutes to read his abilities, and you dont need incebtives he is not selling the champ the guide is for people who already want of have decided to play pantheon
@@ultimatesonic47 Well, most people don't know where to look for proper ability information ( the client is a joke ). I just think thebaus's Sion guide did a much better job appealing to the masses.
@@Kaxinhoxd yeah in the client is pretty bad and some tool tips are actually incorrect, but most of them are acurate and you can see them in the practice tool
