Karma Police by Radiohead. A song that captures the fact that it's about the loss of identity in a world full of hypocrisy in which you can get lost for a moment. Very fitting to the first episode of season 2 of Invincible. This is actually my favourite scene in episode one. The fact that Mark never once stopped to get any credit for the acts of heroism he performed really stands out to me. He isn't trying to fix his reputation and prove to the general public he's not Omn-Man. He's trying to prove to *himself* that he's not his dad. He also likely feels he can't stay in one place because all they see is "Omni-Man's son".
Angstrom now remembers dozens of lives where Mark (and Nolan) violently conquered Earth... and he also remembers Mark being the indirect cause of the end of all those lives (after all, if Mark hadn't shown up his plan might have worked). Between that and the physical and mental trauma, it's no wonder pacifism is no longer his main priority.
I think also with his brain being scrambled like that, I doubt every single one of his clones maintains that same idea of absolute pacifism (they're probably like most people, moral and reasonable when calm and then unable to think straight when angry), so it's easy to see that he has no idea whether that need for revenge is even his need, but has too much anger to really seek inwards as to whether those are his intentions or the intentions of his other selves.
Bulletproof was, if I'm not mistaken, one of the names and designs considered before settling on Invincible and the blue, yellow, and black suit. You might remember Mark discarding that suit design for not being iconic enough back in the first episode. So it seems that, not being able to get the real deal (or not trusting Mark enough for the job), Cecil ended up settling for discount Invincible...

I gotta say more often than not all Mark seems to do is make mistake after mistake that have potentially world ending consequences. I have to wonder if subconsciously he's doing what his dad wants and weakening Earth.
Though Levy was an unreliable narrator even before the mind merge. None of the alternate versions of him had powers, so the alternate Marks and/or Nolans that were behind the scenes were trying to delay/subvert the conquest or just try and minimize death in the transition, would have had a reason to tell the alternates of Levy what they were attempting.
