Thunderdome feels like a whole new game. Apex has never had a map designed like this. I was also shocked to get the lifetime kills and wins tracker today. Really awesome
I may be losing my mind but I remember guns in death boxes being reloaded when you pick them up, that doesn't seem to be the case now cause it's gotten me killed a few times this season
To be fair octane’s heirloom’s animations were undercooked, i think there was 1 or 2 deploy animations and one inspect animation compared to cryptos 4 deploys and 3-4 inspects plus his secret door kick animation so its called for
In the last kill code Revenant gets red eyes when he becomes able to control the entire army. In the rev army ltm, only the red eye Rev could use weapons and shoot. The red eyes just mean he is the real Rev
The audience sound on thunderdome is cool and all, but if the engine is limited at six (?) audio channels, taking one up with the audience means that no audio issues are terrible on the map.
The 120hz mode is absolutely horrendous on ps5. I'm using a LG c2 and within 10m you cannot see anything besides a blurry screen. Looks like switch graphics. Makes no sense why the draw distance is so bad. Just goes to show how bad their engine is for consoles.
One other thing this season is hiding is the old wraith heirloom inspect, G I V E I T B A C K Also, lots of seasons ago there was an interaction between Octane and Bangalore where he kinda hit on her, I guess that plot didn't work out.
@@IllegalPizza777 You think so? I think it's kinda janky the way she opens her hand and the kunai flips. I guess it's just personal preference but like, I've been on Twitter and people seem to be pretty 50/50 about it, some people like it some don't. I personally don't. They could've at least warned us.
Yeah they shadow removed my Rampart skydive emote where she shoots Sheila in the air. I dont remember where i got the emote or I wud be madder but she is my main and i only have a stupid skydive emote now
The Thunderdome map is super cool, but the gameplay on it is terrible. Especially in TDM, whoever has the skull wins the game, there're too few easily accessible approaches
After about two days, I’m already done with this season and game. The same exact matchmaking as always. Can’t enjoy new content if I get pubstomped by Diamond and master badges while my team has a combined amount of damage lower than their chromosome count
To be honest with you, I’m not a fan of a lot of the perks to be honest I prefer the perks from mobile, especially the ones for octane, the directional jump pad is basically useless for PC players and for Xbox it feels the same as a normal jump pad just a bit more control, I would’ve preferred a triple jump jump pad, or the perk, where when his shields are cracked he gets an instant stim boost. If nobody knows what the perks are like on Mobile go, check them out, because I guarantee it’ll disappoint you when you realize what we actually could’ve gotten. I really do hope this is just beta perks I hope we actually get some really really good ones.
Why does this game hate ash so much? Like for real. Nerf her? Whyyyy. Shes the only true lore character besides maybe valkyrie, assuming blisk never actually comes to the games. Give ash a bit of love respawn
For some reason this season bp gives me mortal kombat vibes. Bangolar looks like scorpion from injustice scorpion and lifeline looks like subzero from mk9. Even their pose in the menu looks like it.
Mirages perks turn him from a niche character into somebody actually pretty decent. I genuinely think his perks makes Mirage good this season, been playing him a lot so far
If you pick a loba right now sometimes she has the red eyes that Revenant has not to mention almost every time I've played Loba her band hasn't worked consistently.
IDK if its me but i feel like SEERS ultimate seems a bit bigger than last season, im a seer main and definitely noticed it being bigger instantly but i may be going insane
@@ulisg6040 it can be a problem further in the season, before it was a level playing field, New players had a chance to take on skilled players, now there might be more of a potential devide, that could cause more casual players to leave, which means less people playing
