Season 4: Infection Trailer | Halo Infinite 

Because it's not worth the time it's literally one minute long. They need to show the bigger games that had more content.

@thaneros simple because the game should've been content complete since day one. Infection, new equipment, and maps made on forge with no dedication don't deserve to be on the showcase. It shouldn't be enough to want a full game at launch. Not a raw and poorly underdeveloped game.

It likely didn't exist/wasn't planned until fans complained.

​@@CoercedJab I'm not saying this trailer is pro level, but I definitely wouldn't call it basic editing either. Like the guy said they sync the music with a lot of other things. Getting it to sync might not be hard, but it's not basic either. Especially the part with the customize gun showing.

I’m a video editor and I was impressed by this trailer, and it’s deffo not easy to do. Not something that could be made by someone with only basic experience. There’s a fair things going on in this edit that makes it clear it’s made by a professional

Halo Infinite has had more than enough chances to catch on. I think Microsoft is cutting their losses at this point and focusing on the future.

It's even worse than what I thought it was. 1214 as of 18 minutes ago with less than 5000 playing for a 24hr peak. Expected numbers for a team that has dropped the ball time and time again. The map reveals didn't really show much though. It was kinda just a zoom-out of an obscure location with people fighting in spots that didn't look very identifiable. Still neat though.

Amen, brother. I would grind reach infection and also grifball for DAYS. Crazy to me how infinite didn't launch with two of the fan favorite game modes but things are on the right track and there is finally reason for optimism.

Infection is the core of all the best custom games, you really can’t have Halo without it. Hopefully it’s gonna be the best infection yet given how amazing the forge is!

To me, this literally means halo infinite was released an additional 2.5 years after their delayed release. Too bad I have no desire to even play the game at this point.

If you look at it from a corporate perspective. Halo atleast the studio hasn't had... well good news in awhile. Especially when the old management team even half the people were let go. So what I think why Microsoft didn't show halo infinite on their showcase was let current 343 work without having too much expectations for season 4. But that's just a theory maybe not the exact reason behind it.

Zombies have been able to use different weapons in custom games for every halo game, except Halo 4

Wild thing is Infection has been in Halo Infinite for months now through custom games lol. Easily the BEST custom games of any Halo… my first Halo was 2 and CE around 2004

I'm pretty disappointed on how Infection looks on this currently. For how long it took them I assumed that they would make the maps look fitting for Infection or something. The only thing new about Infection is how the Infected looks which while cool is still a let down.

@@olliemccartney9850 I'm more so talking visuals here. I know the maps are changed in layout but the atmosphere is still the same. How about they make the place all decrepit or battle scarred and maybe make the UNSC bases red or something. Besides the dead spartans and the barricades there isn't much visual distinction between this and slayer.

maybe season 5 or 6? like season 4 is Iratus trying to take control but it is stoped in time, without first having sent a signal to the banished and now we will have to do missions or firefight simulations in the following seasons

I really hope they add some kind of pve firefight mode, the campaign enemies are great

New and old players returning to see how the game is now(how it should have been at launch lmao). More attention means more players, more money to 343 and maybe Microsoft greenlighting a new game under saber interactive or ID

@@juantsu2000 It is commonly speculated that 343 Industries will not be continuing their long term plan for Infinite. While we may be getting seasons they will stop at some point to begin work on the next game.

Problem is,people get upset when they do this with an existing ip. Forget about the desync and unfixable bugs,that's on 343 for choosing to make thier own engine. But players get super angry when modes from old games are added as new content,which I guess kinda makes sense,but where's the fun and excitmeent in dumping every single halo mode onto infinite day one. Even mcc didn't do that. As for the long term plan, trying to do something like this with an existing ip is very,very difficult. The only two games I can think of that are capable of doing this are destiny and sea of thieves

Sean also admitted in the S4 livestream that progression should have been there at launch, so. Doesn’t seem complete to me, and it seems that 343 knows that’s.
