I'm insanely new to the game. 2 months in. What should I be striving for? What resources are the rarest later on? What are things that Alliances, look for in a good member? Any information is appreciated.
I'd say focus on story content and the highest difficulty EQ that you can do. Don't worry about exploration of the early story acts too much. The rarity of certain resources will change later on but in the early game, you'll find most things are easily available because they want you to "get up to speed" faster. Alliances look for good communication and most require the Line app for that. Be active, participate in AQ, war, or whatever modes the alliance requires.
Why is there 6* Shards in Master War rewards there should be none from master down to Gold1 because Valiant players are mostly playing in Gold1 or P4 up to Master. I feel like they need a slight buff.
