I LOVE cordelia’s relationship with Queenie & queenie’s relationship with the coven. She went from betraying them to being one of their favorites. I think cordelia has a special place for her. When queenie did tk the smile cordelia did. When misty returned she only hugged queenie. When madison saw queenie in hell she was overjoyed
@@IntersexCreature Yes that made me so sad, cause she wanted a child of her own. luckily that's exactly what she got in the end two children, two powerful witches😩😩😩
@@bryanalexander7571 that’s bc you’re a boy i bet lol. women however, see this on another point bc we hate how men always want to be the best at everything and always wanna take the spotlight.
“Why do you get to decide that?” “Because I’m the FUCKING Supreme” “No, you’re just a scared bigot” “Scared of WHAT?” Cordelia channeled her inner Fiona right there 😭 iconic
@@idiotthatdrawsakaartist she was willing to sacrificed her entire coven to gain immortality and retain her power, so my best guess is she would side with Michael.
I'm sorry but it broke my heart when she tells the warlocks about Queenie, how desperately she tried to save her and how she had to stop because rescuing Queenie was beyond her power
I didn't like that. To me it made Cordelia seem less powerful. In Coven they made it seem like "THE SUPREME" is meant to be SO POWERFUL yet she couldn't save Queenie from the Hotel Cortez. Then they gave us this B.S. about Cordelia drawing her power from "light". WTF they literally mentioned that nowhere in COVEN. & I highly doubt Fiona's evil a** was drawing her power from "light". It was a CROCK. To me it just seemed like Fiona was STRONGER as a Supreme than Cordelia.
@@lalaland9838 Did you just plug Freak Show?! So bad hahaha .... I mean, yeah I really like a number of the other seasons but this one grips me in a way none of the others do. I love the character. I want to see more of their magic. I want to see more of their turmoil. I need more Supreme!!!!!
Am I the only one who genuinely would love to do the whole remove mouth spell thing on my enemies 🤣 like holy shit "My powers are waining? ... say it again."
11:50 The level of hubris the warlocks have in thinking that Cordelia's waning powers have any effect on the outcome of a fight between herself and them. It's like two ants cheering that a T-Rex is having an off day, like it makes a damn bit of difference. Cordelia states she can't fight Michael in her condition, an implication that she would have a good chance at taking him down at that time, a fellow S-Tier in magick.. Even Mallory repelled Michael without being a fully realized supreme. It's funny how these guys didn't have the imagination to realize that even on Cordelia's worst day, they couldn't hold a candle to her on their best day.
@@DerekMcAdam2023 She told Madison she knows she's only loyal to herself and that they didn't bring her back to life even though they knew she was dead (because they thought she could use a lesson in hell). No way she's gonna scream Madison's name for help when Madison wouldn't even buy milk on her way to the academy if Cordelia asked her 😩
I have a huge problem. I cant even decide whom to give the crown of being badass in AHS Apocalypse because Jessica Lange stole the show being there only for a small cameo role even. Emma Roberts gets a good justice to her role in this season :D
Cordelia is my favorite AHS character by Sarah Paulson for too many reasons to name. My love for her is stronger than all my weaknesses combined. ❤️❤️❤️
I saw in an old TV guide from the coven or freak show days the writer described Paulson as “the signature darling” of the series. My wife and I say that pretty much anytime she is on the screen 😂
Whoever made costumes in the Coven and Apocalypse deserves a fucking Oscar. Cordelia looks sooo good, my dear. If I saw her somewhere while going around the city, I would pass out. She's absolutely attractive
Sarah Paulson is a really good actress. In Apocalypse she portrayed THREE different characters: Whilhemina Venable, Cordelia Goode and Billie Dean Howard. Wilhemina Venable was definitely her most evil character but I loved her as Cordelia.
I loved Sarah Paulson in run. Now I'm obsessed with her she's so beautiful. Though I'm straight I find Sarah Paulson very attractive. Even though she's twice my age.
Yeeees during the girls Seven Wonders performance i was like daaaamn why is nobody surprised it was the first time i saw her perform this type of ability
God, this season is so underrated just like coven used to be. Sooner or later everyone will realise how great it is and stop hating on it, same with coven.
Coven was massively successful during its initial run and has gone on to become thee fan favorite AHS season. I wouldn’t exactly say it was underrated, if anything it was appropriately rated.
@@gillysummerss I do not remember coven getting that sort of praise at all. Everyone was complaining it wasn’t “horror” and saying things like “we went from asylum to this”. I don’t think it was up until like Roanoke or Cult that people starting giving it praise.
@@vladtorcatoriu9080The woman in that scene has what’s known as a kink hairstyle. It’s considered to be a “ Doll handle “for bondage, kink, wild sex, and discipline. The hairstyle is so restrictive that it is similar to the hair style’s in certain grade schools called “Brat braids”. Braids so tight that children are in pain and grouchy.
A supreme reign for about 30 years after her predecessor.. Cordila shouldn’t have been fading this early . Like I don’t understand.. Her successor should be like a baby or kid .... Her & Mallory was too close in age . Like I don’t get it .
I think its because her mother Fiona held her back for so long. She shouldve passed the powers way earlier, but didnt. Fiona became Supreme in her early age and reignd for so long. So she kind of took that time of Cordelia.
@@pascalperret3425 Not Necessarily... Yes Fiona took power early after killing the former Supreme Anna Leigh when it wasn’t her time yet ...but still Cordelia was in her late 20s early 30s which is when I rising supreme take power .... I’m Guessing Season 8 was rushed cause it honestly made no sense. Maybe Mallory isn’t a Witch at all . Just like they thought Michael was warlock but he wasn’t. Ryan said he’ll do one more season with the witches so maybe we’ll find out more about Mallory.
Exactly. The only explanation is that cordelia used up some of her life when she brought myrtle back But true a supreme is usually 30 with a 30+ year reign. Fiona got it longer by killing and had the supremacy linger than any other
Nope michael wasn't making cordelia sick. Rather, a new supreme was rising. They thought it was Michael but it was actually Mallory. That's why they could do the time travel stuff in the last ep because cordelia stabbed herself so Mallory could be the new Supreme
@@finnkyle5552 We do not know if Langdon wasn’t doing something to aide Cordelia’s sickness intentionally or unintentionally. The nose bleeds and her passing out. Fiona was much older and barely did that. It’s a Plot convenience for Mallory to rise that quick and for Cordelias sickness to move so quickly. Also, as soon as Cordelia went to the male school she passed out when she first saw Michael and after he completed the seven wonders. Who is to say that being around him and his darkness wasn’t affecting Cordelia and her light. All that they alluded to was that Mallory was the next supreme and causing Cordelia to fade. Only being supreme for 5 years before becoming so sick isn’t fair.
@@rox-tn1cf she didn’t know what it was. She hadn’t heard about the hotel until they investigated the last place she had been too and saw she purchased a ticket there.
@@rox-tn1cf none of them even knew about the hotel cortez, nor about it being haunted. Cordelia only knew that the hotel was a hell hole when she tried to get queenie out when she was telling the story to the warlocks.
Her story was concluded and she was subjected to her personal hell. She wouldn't have been a benefit because it was shown through all of Season 3, she really only cared about herself. She didn't even return to the coven until she realized she was fading and she had to kill the next rising supreme. She might have gotten distracted but her goal was always to kill everyone around her and remain with her powers as long as possible.
@@harleyquinn2938 Besides. We all know if Michael brought back Fiona you know the FIRST thing she’d do is swear allegiance to him like Dinah. Second, she’d probably continue her plot to kill Cordelia or even Mallory for that matter, since power and survival is all she thinks about. Dinah fit that role and we even got to see her die for it.
Not sure how I feel about the warlocks. Many of them are jerks or straight up villains but they're lashing out makes sense when you consider that they're treated as second class magic-users in their culture. Even the "facts" that Cordelia alludes to sound like bias fueled stigma
Why didnt she have her powers in the vision? Was it because it was a nightmare (in which you usually loose), or was it a real vision where she lost her powers for whatever reason?
The nightmare is a metaphor. In a nightmare, our brains FORGET logic, and we seemingly lose any ability of self preservation. Cordelia also realized in that moment that her ALONE would have no affect on Michael. She had to unite her girls and also find the rising Supreme quickly. Her dying in the nightmare meant she’d also fade, not just die while in the process of stopping Michael.
It was about her being powerless to stop the course of fate. That’s why she started to devise the plan to save the world, regardless if she was the one to save it or not.
