Mz B was dating different people in season 1 so Josh faced another direction, when she said she liked him, he was already dating his Australian fiancée. I don't know how this story should end, I just know it's sometimes hard to bare your feelings to a friend who might turn you down. Could Josh have spoken earlier? Absolutely! but i understand his fears. I had a friend - more like a family friend + we go to the same church + neighbour confess his feeling for me this year, I knew he always liked me and tried not to lead him in that direction for the last 4 years. He finally said what was on his mind, I gracefully said No and he stopped speaking to me. I know his feelings and ego are hurt. Its not easy to confess your feelings+ it can go south like my case we aren't friends at least for now.
