he clears its but not in the way you think. when we first see the atom ic move underground, when he puts up the purple dome it blows all the wind away, soa dome that big must produce alot of wind force which is what cleared it

@@zxokku Nah the purple force field just marks and limits the area where his nuke unleashes. Nothing else. The first and second atomic had a cylinder shape with a hole on top which is why the explosion shot straight up. In this last scene, he redirected his nuke from the city up towards the sky at the last moment, which is why the sky cleared up.

The fact that Beatrix knew she was outmatched during that "I AM ATOMIC" jabait shows that she can tell when she shouldn't push her luck. Iris on the other hand, truly is like a wild animal at that point. Shadow showed he could nuke her entire kingdom at will and she still somehow thinks she has a chance... and it just gets worse from there but I won't give any spoilers.

Now scale this circle that surrounded the kingdom, and you can scale that to life wipe. Especially when he says it. Plus we all know he can bust a planet. It’s obvious. This dude is OP. Easily one of the most power iseakai characters ever.

@@Tanzu15 he also played things up for his fantasy then left.... and given the area that's covered from his magic, it's not world shattering in the slightest if it's only enveloping a city. a city is only a mere fraction of a continent, and pretty miniscule compared to the entire world also, the first time he did it did not destroy a city, it destroyed part of the city the only real evidence backing his "ability to destroy the world" was when he fought that copy of aurora when they said that he reached a level capable of destroying the world, simply cause aurora was a "fitting opponent" for him. shadow has never put out enough power to actually destroy more than a chunk of the city. but in this episode, he only showed he was capable of destroying the entire city in one go. all of the evidence is clearly there in the episodes

I'm a bit confused, I read the manga a long time ago before the anime was even announced but I'm like 90% certain that I've already read season 2 even though I did not reach the season 1 finale. Did they change the order around? so season 2 happens before the last part of season 1?

@@iforgot383 nope, the order is perfectly correct. Next arc would be that vampire arc and bank currency arc which will be shown in season 2.This final fight of S1 was extended by them to make it better. The fight was really short in Manga and LN

Something I like about this show is that Cid doesn't care if his opponent is a man or a woman, he still hits them. 80% of anime protagonists don't tend to hit women (even if they are villains).

Its funny how Iris was throwing her sword away. She really just thought she could use Shadow's own technique against him in such a flimsy way (like how she was constantly seeing her death during the festival due to Shadow's slight movements and hostile intent)

People often compare cid with Goku, Saitama,rimuru , anos without taking into account the Power system and their respective Universe eg, cid was strong enough to defeat a soldier in his world but he will loose to a strong veteran magic spellsword But after reincarnating, he has magic in his arsenal which enables him to defeat almost everyone (don't forget his ingenious invention like the slime suit and sword as well as his ability to mix his combat prowess with magic) We must not forget that Cid has extremely high adaptability which will enable him to master different power systems Eg, he can master qi in dbz verse He can hunt slimes in rimuru's verse (which is the most likely thing he would do) to understand the properties of a slime and learn rimuru's ability through self experiment He can master magic from Anos' verse (keep in mind that both verses' magic properties are quite different) He can control his desire to manifest his superpower in opm verse (it's one of the common ways how Saitama,amai mask,gained their powers)

A question for the all knowing comment section. How come Shadows crowbars don't break when fighting against an artifact? Is it because his mana is so dense and he channels it through his crowbars?

Actually, I think it's more that Iris was too weak to break it to begin with. Even with an Artifact boosting her power, she was nowhere close to shadow. Beatrix however DID slice the crowbar in half by pure skill. That also shows that Beatrix is more powerful than Iris with the Artifact.

there's magic conductivity when it comes to swords/metal- being more conductive means magic flows through more freely and allows it to be strengthened up to a certain degree. The crowbars if I have to guess are just as strong as a regular sword (when mana-infused) and will still break normally if used incorrectly/hit at the right spot. cid and shadow garden uses slimes that have an even higher magic conductivity than mithril blade (slime is at 99%) . When used in combat together with his really dense magical energy, it is nigh indestructible.

it's actually those magic induced slimes, not actual crowbars. Same with his sword... he and many of shadow garden just shape the slimes to clothes/armor/tools/weapons to use. It's also the reason why cid didn't have his sword or crowbar before or when using the other weapon shape. (having a real metal weapon for shadow garden is only a secondary weapon on rare occasion, though cid doesn't have that... as he is the weapon in the first place) Though based on this world's logic, if they actually gave Cid a metal crowbar... his mana density, quantity, and quality could enchanting that crowbar... would pretty much rival an artifact grade ultimate weapon. (like the sanctuary)

I haven't read the manga but the imply here is that Aurora, the Ancient Witch also known as the ancient Demon Diablos, most likely *predates* vampires/is the origin of vampires herself. Beatrix must know about them since she's an elf and pretty old and experienced, but not as old as to know about Aurora herself most likely.

Iris is the only character, out of all the animes I watched(it isn't many, tbh), that really annoys me just because she won't admit that she's not strong enough to defeat Shadow. Like, at this point, it's really just laughing matter for us viewers..
